iBigBang Contest Giveaway!

I came across this fanpage, http://ibigbang.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/contestgiveaway-ibigbang-contest-giveaway/#more-22741 recently, and I found that there's a contest giveaway! *AWESOME* There's this voice inside my head, keep asking me to give it a try, and here I am, writing my first ever entry to my first ever contest giveaway online!

I first came to know BIG BANG back when I was still a student, in year 2007. My mum brought a new computer back home and that's when I finally understood the joy of "online paradise" every night (especially when you don't have to pay for anything). *LOL!* One of my classmate gave me a link to a music video in YouTube when we were chatting in MSN one night. It turned out to be one of BIG BANG's music video, "We Belong Together". At that moment, I didn't really pay much attention to the singer of the song. We both loved hip hop, RnB, soul type of songs, and sure we enjoyed all the dance stuff as well. Another reason is because he always shared me some awesome music videos, when he thinked that the music is awesome and especially when the music video involved some awesome dance. So, BIG BANG was just a small part in my "awesome singer list".

One day after I entered the working society, I came across with the word "the BIG BANG theory", and the word "BIG BANG" suddenly reminds me of their music video "We Belong Together" I once watched in YouTube. When I got home after work, I searched for "BIG BANG" in YouTube, and that's when I fell in love with BIG BANG for the first time. *Click* and it was an instant love at first sight when I listened to the song. If you're wondering what song was it? It's "Haru Haru" by BIG BANG.



The song caught my heart and I strongly felt the sadness of the song. Maybe that's because I am a sad love song lover. I barely understand korean, and at the same time I wanted to know the meaning of the lyrics, so I tried searching online and finally got the meaning of the song. Now I knew that "Haru Haru" means "day by day". I constantly replay this song every night, more than ten times per night! *LOL* The more I watch the music video, the more I got interested in BIG BANG. I first noticed G-Dragon, as he holds the main character in "Haru Haru" music video. I loved him more when I watched "La La La" music video and some others, he has this cute lil' boy image, it's irresistable to me. *GIGGLE* I started to watch more and more of BIG BANG's music videos through You Tube, and eventually it made me love YouTube more! *LOL*

I used to listen to BIG BANG's songs, but I never get to know the guys. All of a sudden I got interested in knowing more about the five awesome guys and everything about BIG BANG. The internet has become my best friend as it always gave me anything I wanted to find. Finding BIG BANG's biography and details is such an easy job when all you needed is just a few clicks of the mouse. Browsing through their biography made me realized that their age range were actually around mine! I was kinda surprised as I always thought that they were older than me. (to be honest, I am the same age as Tae Yang and G-Dragon. *giggle*).

A simple introduction of BIG BANG are as followed :
G-Dragon ~
He was also known as GD, who was the group leader.....his real name was Kwon Ji yong and was born on 18th August 1988...he acts as the leader,vocalist,rapper and composer.....I like him rappin' and he's the first member I liked among the five boys....although many people don like his style but I think his style was the first thing that caught my attention...LOL~he tends to wear triangle scarves around his neck and I just loved it! he's a real athlete and I loved it! Being in variety game shows and he was the athlete among the boys....always standing out and winning over the others....oh love love love GD~ LOL! It was a fresh look when he dyed his hair all blonde, but I really prefer his hair short....he's cuter and hotter like that~ haha~

Tae Yang ~
He was the main vocalist and dancer of the group, His real name was Dong Young Bae and was born on 18th May 1988....at first I didn't notice much about him, until his single release of "wedding dress".....it was an instant falling in love....LOL!!I was like "how come I didn't notice him back then....."he's good in singing and dancing and I totally love guys who can sing and dance well....LMAO~not to mention.....he has super nice abs!!!! argh~~~~~~~~~he was so hot and he can dance super well....and he's super cuuuuuute when he smile~ oh~it just take my breath away everytime he smiled....it made me cant resist him~!LOL~I got addicted with the song and have to listen to "wedding dress" everyday......Releasing of "Solar" album made me got crazy over him once again, especially the song "I need a girl" featuring Sandara 2NE1.... I loved Sandara! He's so hot I bet every girl puts him first on their wish list!

TOP ~
He is the rapper, beat-boxer and the composer of the group....he is the second member I liked after GD....LOL~ it's almost impossible to not notice him in the group because his voice stands out from the others....he has a uniquely deep voice which is nice to hear when he rap.....his real name was Choi Seung Hyun and was born on 4th November 1987....I have to admit...he has a pair of "electrify eyes"...haha~he knows how to do and play with the "electric" thingy......and it just takes my breath away everytime he does that with his mesmerizing pair of eyes....lately he got involved in acting stuff, and his role in IRIS just "killed" me~ haha! Hope that he has more acting role in the future!

Seung Ri ~
His real name was Lee Seung Hyun...born on 19th December 1990 makes him the youngest group member among the boys....he was the vocalist of the group....Big bang's dance were choreographed by Shaun Evaristo and Lyle Beniga but Seung Ri helped choreographed some of the dance in their MVs as well...and he was often given credits for them.....he is one naughty adorable maknae! LOL! and definitely a good story teller....I love watching him in "Strong heart"....I can't stop laughing when he told all those good ol' funny stories! Sometimes I just can't stand the way he spill out all the "inside story" of BIG BANG.....it never failed to give me a good laugh after a long tiring day....haha!

Dae Sung ~
Dae Sung was often being jokingly labeled as the "unpretty boy" but he turned out to be extremely popular though, all the girls tend to like him the most because of his angel smile.....he's the vocalist of the group....it turned out that he was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules.....he was born on 26th April 1989....after all the documentary videos of Big Bang I watched in YouTube, Dae Sung was labeled as the "happy angel", because he never get tired of giving us that bright smile.....not only his smile stands out from the others, but also he has this trot thing that always blows everyone off~

BIG BANG has quite some number of commercials, and I loved watching them all! (even if it's just a few seconds or few minutes). They are all so cute and adorable, I just can't stop loving them more and more!







Then, one of my friend suggested me to watch their parody as well. That's when I noticed they are so good in making parody and comedy skits. Awwww~ BIG BANG steals my heart to a place far far away! I melted everytime I watch any of their awesome videos!







One thing that caught my attention from the very beginning was BIG BANG's sense of fashion and style. I was a huge fan of Hip Hop and street culture. Not only the flow of BIG BANG's music caught my attention, but also the way they dressed themselves. I love HOODIES so much!! And when I saw a group of boys wearing awesome hoodies singing and dancing like that, it just makes me weak inside. *LOL* I just can't stop browsing through their pictures and photos in the internet everyday! I love the way where all the accessories fit so well on them, the sunglasses, the caps, the big necklace, the ring, the hoodies, the shoes.....*ARGH* I felt like screaming everytime I talked about BIG BANG. even their hairstyle are hot! making them stayed handsome always! *LOL*


They are always well known for their bright colours image, but even when they are wearing formal clothes, they still looked hot and funky! Awww~~ nothing will ever make me stop loving BIG BANG! If you happen to ask me which BIG BANG boys I love the most? I love all five of them! cuz BIG BANG wouldn't be BIG BANG if any of them are missing. All of them have their own talent and best qualities, but yet, even doing own separate solo events, it doesn't make them go their separate ways. (I really hope they do not end up in separation in any time and in any of the days to come). Thank goodness YG entertainment found them! Not forgetting that I will always support YG entertainment!

Detecke 17th convocation 2010

17th July 2010 ; A perfect day for Detecke's 17th Convocation....

It was raining heavily when I waited for Lisa at Centre Point's entrance, and I thought my make up was going to get a mess from the rain....Lisa arrived with an umbrella, and thank God she has two umbrellas....

The first thing I saw when I get in the car was the huge bouquet of Sunflowers, haha~ I know Irean will surely loved this... it's been a while since I last saw Irean, I didn't even went to the airport to send her that morning, obviously I am "SUPER HARD" to be waken up that time~ T.T

Anyway, the three of us laughed when none of us had ever step our feet in Times Square KK before, the place has been there for quite some time already, and today, it will be our first time there...the place was so new to us we don't even know where Detecke was at...finding a suitable parking was funny....we end up parking the car at the basement when everyone parked their cars just outside Detecke -.-||
If you think finding a suitable parking is funny, try find Detecke on your own....it's not funny when it's raining, and especially when you are holding a big bouquet of flowers~ I must admit, the first thing I put my attention on was the place~ It was so pretty! Delson said it felt like you're not in KK, feels like you're at overseas, I have to agree with him on this but I know we are just dreaming and imagining~We finally found DETECKE building after Lisa called Irean. The friendly guard downstairs told us to go up to the 6th floor, and he thought the event will only be starting at the evening around 6pm. We went up and noticed all the SIA graduates were sitting in their places inside the hall. It was a small hall and I even heard that the graduation dinner will also be held inside here later in the evening. @.@ I went speechless but then I notice the graduates are not many in numbers. Okay, probably they can fit everyone inside here, but I do have to agree with Lisa, this place is really small~ they should at least rent a bigger hall? so that everyone will not have to walk and worry that they might bump into other people at the same time. The first person we bumped into was Charles the photographer. All three of us laughed as he recognized us from Lisa's wedding day. Irean was in her blue graduation robe while Howey was in yellow. They differentiate each faculty with different graduation robe colour, blue for interior design and yellow for graphic design. Parents, friends and relatives filled the hall, soon everyone took their seats and waited for the president and professor before the event can finally start.The MC gave a brief introduction and soon the ceremony starts. Not long after that, it was time for speech. I don't really like listening to long talking stuff such as speeches and talks. We got sleepy and bored when we first waited for their arrival, and when the speech started, look at what we did?
SS moments! LOL! I took my camera and Lisa took her iphone, both of us tried to capture as many photos as we could~ I mean, who wouldn't have felt sleepy when it was 3pm++ in a rainy afternoon?

Luckily, the speeches were not long! We were grateful for that but came to think of it, that was quite short! LOL~ anyway, the ceremony moved on and it was time to present the diplomas to fellow graduates.
While the graduates were receiving their diploma certificates on stage, me and Lisa played with the programme list down below. Awww.....how great if those were diploma certificates as well?
After that, it was photoshooting time! With the flowers and certs, no one is more happier than the graduates themselves!
The stage of the small hall was a very nice place to have our photos taken, just look at the carpet and background of it.....does that reminds u of........RED CARPET? haha~ I'm dreaming of hollywood~
After indoor photoshooting, it was time for outdoor photoshooting. So all of us were asked to head outside of the building.
Downstairs, there was a Detecke gallery, a special place to store and display all the nice artworks done by the students. These are some of it that I took with my camera from outside.

Parents were asked to join their sons and daughters as well~
Later, the photographer even asked the fellow fresh graduates to do "special effects" such as jumping, throwing the hat and walking forward etc. I still remember what one of the students stated in loud, "Now I know, being a fresh graduate is not as easy as I thought it was!", which made everyone burst into laughter~
Apparently, not only professional photographers were present, even family members have brought their best photoshooting assets to capture the best moments of their family~ check out this guy in sky blue shirt and tie, he was just standing beside me and OMG, I wished I have his camera!
Most of them are tired after the photoshooting sessions, imagine smiling for hours and standing in high heels with a big bouquet of flowers + diploma cert~ I guessed.......being a fresh graduate is really not easy! *LOL*

Well, the afternoon programme has come to an end.....it's time for us, the guest to make a move first....but before we leave the place....*evil laugh*, guess what do we do? We do not just leave like that when it's a pretty place.....haha~ although we do not have any professional photographer, but let us take some photos as well first before leaving~
Arrrrggghhh~ tired legs -.- I don enjoy wearing heels actually, but I actually loved walking in heels, cuz they made you feel more confident~ hahaha~ heels are one of girl's best friend?

Time to go get something to eat.....and Lisa said let's have a pillow talk tonight before Irean is leaving for her studies once again~ T.T~ I dunno how can I fell asleep that night while waiting for Irean......but.........

SO SORRY FOR MAKING EVERYONE WAITED FOR ME FOR HALF AN HOUR DOWNSTAIRS MY HOME~
