Veer Zaara

FINALLYYYYY I got to watch Veer Zaara.

Been wanting to watch this movie for so long and I've always found broken links.

A sad love story between two different nationality + race + religion human beings.

A 2004 movie directed by Yash Chopra.

Leading roles are Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukerji.

Set against the backdrop of conflict between India and Pakistan, the romance follows the unfortunate love story of an Indian Air Force Squadron Leader Veer Pratap Singh and a Pakistani woman hailing from a rich political family of Lahore, Zaara Haayat Khan.

They were separated for twenty two years where Veer was been put behind bars.

A Pakistani lawyer, Saamiya Siddiqui finds Veer in prison, and upon listening to his story, tries to free him for her first court case.

I found the most unforgettable lines in the movie:

"You made a big mistake.

Zaara, i'm a very simple man.

I speak frankly and understand things simply.

It's the first time I started thinking differently because of dad and Maati.

The entire journey I kept thinking of a way to stop you, to not let you go.

and tell that I really like you, and if you think I'm okay then let's get married.

and we'll breeze through life together just like these past two days.

But the guy up there has his strange ways, he kept building up my confidence.

and when we got here, he changed the entire story."

"There's nothing between us, nor can there ever be.

but wherever whenever you need a friend, just remember there is a man across the border,

who will give his life for you."

"Just keep Zaara happy.

I don't know what is love. but yes, I do wish from the bottom of my heart that Zaara will never have tears in her eyes.

if that's what you call love is, then love it is.

That she always keep smiling."

Those line and that part of the movie tear my heart up, I somehow felt the unspeakable pain in it.

The man is just too good and pure himself.

"SACRIFICE" is such a big word and yet he done it without any doubts or regrets.

A very sad story indeed, and I give this movie a 5/5.

A hangout night with Aifer

It's been mooooooonths since I last hangout with my heng dais a.k.a brothas~~~

wait.... months or years? too long.

tonight gonna meet up with Aifer.

He recently bought a new Dmax and was driving her here and there to pick up friends.

So today it was my turn.

Boy~ the smell of new car feels so good.

and the car was high, spacious and comfortable.

Gosh... I've always interested to own a CRV/Harrier, but due to the prices issues.....

I guessed this dream has to waaaaaaaaait for a long time.

We have no idea where to head to....

and we actually end up at Tanjung Aru. LOL.

Haven't come to Perdana Park for quite some time already, and the last time I was here I was with.....Charlie and Audrey?

It was dizzling so we have to sit under the umbrella.

Just like other people, we sit and enjoy the musical fountain for 10 minutes.

When the show is over, we decided to look for food, as Aifer has not taken his dinner yet.

There're a few shops by the Perdana Park, but the weird thing is.... they are not customers inside.

I wondered how long would this business survive?

Anyway, we choose this pinky pinkish shop named "Speggi" in the end.

The shop was inviting from outside, but once we were seated, we somehow felt like sitting in a kid's restaurant.

My dessert came first - Strawberry Ice Cream.

Then comes Aifer's Bolognaise Spaghetti.

Last comes the Hawaiian Chicken with Cheese Pizza.

The food was quite delicious, we both actually finish everything in less than 30 minutes?

LOL. There is no delay when it comes to food.

And I love the extra Parmesan Cheese powder they gave me =)))))

Cheese is L.O.V.E =)

Just one bad review about the place, the price of the food are very expensive =.=

Although the service is very good and the food taste not bad.

Since it was only 9.30pm when we leave Tanjung Aru.

We decided to head to Ren Ai for another session of yum cha.

I desperately need a liong cha drink as my flu is running loose like a tap water, I actually ain't no feeling well tonight.

Aifer picked up Wesley and meet up with Freaddy at Ren Ai Lintas.

We sit, chat and drink until 10.40pm and head home.

Wait another time when I feel better first yah, I felt like I have not let myself out the whole night.
