^13/12/10^ - DAY 3
Wake up with an aching shoulder, it's around 4 or 5am as the sky is still very dark, I turn my body and try to get back to my sleeps....another waking up session, and it's around 6am, argh, let me sleep please....when I try to have another turn, my feet accidentally kick the drawers beside me as I am sleeping on my sleeping bag on the floor, just then I heard Wong Fei Hong's song being turn on outside, "deng deng deng deng............", feeling so LOL-ed, I try to place myself in a comfortable position so that I can continue my sleeps, just then I heard Irean moved in her place up on the bed beside me, Oh o~ my kick should have wake her up.
I fell asleep not long after that but wake up again to the song "long ban......deng deng deng........." some time later. For a moment there I thought I was in the old era just like inside those old chinese movies. The bright sky kinda strike hard on my face, as it shone directly into the room, the bright light bothered my sleeps and I have to hide my face underneath my jacket. I tried to continue sleeping, but I only manage to rest my eyes and being in a half-conscious state. I continue listening to all the old chinese songs being played outside. When Irean suddenly wake up and rushed to the toilet outside, it was 8am and that's when I said I'm not gonna continue sleeping anymore.
I turn, roll and squish squash just like a cat on my sleeping bag to find Daniel looking at me with a smile saying "wake up so early ar". WALAO, WHY THIS GUY LIKES TO LOOK AT MY WAKE UP FACE OH?! I hide my face inside my jacket again when I heard him giggled himself, "Ui you not suppose to be working de meh now??" He said he woke up late just now, and found himself not in time for work already, so he decided to just take the day off.
"Wake up lor, let's go pasar buy ha mee."
"Huh, you mean now?"
"Ya, buy ha mee then buy breakfast for all of them as well."
"Ooooooooooo........."
"You don't have to wear so nice to the market de, no one will look at you, all are malay people there, just wake up and go out like this lor."
"Eeee, this is my sleeping shirt lai de wor, I have to at least change? Town area wor."
"No need lar, I also gonna go out like this. All the people here wear like this go out de."
"Emmmmm................"
"Lazy ar? if you don't wanna go then I can help you buy geh."
"Ui want o want o, I wanna go walk walk and see see."
I wake up and find Irean back in her sleeping place again. She mentioned about the old chinese songs and that was when all the funny conversations started. Charlie entered the room too and joined in the funny conversation. Ho was still sleeping soundly, I guessed he had a hard time sleeping last night.
"Ui ui, you see Ho sleep dao so sweet."
"walao, first time I saw his sleeping face eh, I have to take this photo down!"
LOL! and off we went out to the town.
It has been quite some time since the last time I took the bus back in KK, and I didn expected the next time I take the bus, it's gonna be in Sandakan!
It costs us 80 cents per person for the ride to town, counted quite pricy for the short trip, as it was just around 10 - 15 minutes?
The bus stopped right in front of the central market, but as soon as I stepped down the bus, I just realized I dunno how to choose the best ha mee! Obviously I haven't done my homework in years. LOL! Daniel even called his mum and one of his female fren, asking for a simple guide, *paiseh eh, malu saya*.
Outside the market, is the Sandakan town area, nothing much to see actually, it felt just like gaya streets back in KK with all the old buildings in rows.
The central market is situated just beside the sea, and opposite of the market, the developer decided to build a new shopping complex! and yes, this will be the first mall for Sandakan. Wondered how long would it take to complete?
After getting the ha mee, we went upstairs to get some breakfast for everyone. There are quite some stalls on the third floor, and we choose kueh teow with deep fried pork for today's breakfast menu. I bet the food from the other stalls tasted good too, since the first day I arrived at Sandakan, I cant wait to try all the food in Sandakan.
We walked around the market as Daniel said he will bring me walk around and see the town. It was actually a bit weird to find a small single craft shop in front of the market.
Then we came across this restaurant called New Imperial Bayview Restaurant, it's good to have a restaurant beside the sea as the view must be very pretty. But according to Daniel, the position of the restaurant is very wrong because anyone who wanted to go into this restaurant need to pass the wet market. Plus, if you are getting married or are going to attend a wedding dinner, you will still have to take the same route with your pretty wedding gown/elegant dinner dress on. I went into SWT mode upon hearing that statement.
Just then I saw all those fishermen's boats just beside the market, no wondered the seafood here are so fresh, they sell it straight away after the fishes were harvest!

After the market, there's a beautiful long seaside way all til the end, it actually looked something like Waterfront in KK. I find this the most beautiful place in Sandakan as I love the sea a lot. I jump and run and dance and laugh there as the sea breeze was blowing through me, the sun was shining brightly and I suddenly don't feel the hotness anymore. I enjoyed more when I'm around the seaside.
Loved the place so much I had to request for some photos taken, I don't even care if I'm wearing my sleeping attires anymore, the peoples of Sandakan saw me in this for the whole morning already, LMAO!
I forgot what was this place called already, Harbour something something....
We were sweating like shit by the time we got on the bus to take the ride home, it's already 10.40am when we arrived home. His grandmother said "You guys went out for so long everyone is starving already." LOL, I didnt even realized it's already 2 hours! Good times always flies huh?
and we had kueh teow + soya tau fu fah for the breakfast, YUMMY!
Howey is coming to pick us all at 12pm, we're gonna go have some lunch and desserts with her. At the same time, Ho and Irean are moving their luggage to Howey's house as they will spend the last night at Sandakan in Howey's place. Actually our secret plan got out of track today, which Irean has to re-plan the whole thing.
We went to Tsim Tsa Tsui to take our lunch (sounded so much like we were in Hong Kong), and we didn't ordered much as we had just taken our breakfast for not even more than one hour, LOL!
Three of us, Charlie, Daniel and me are sharing this two plates of rice.
The combo disturb event continued from Howey's car to the restaurant. Both Ho and Daniel never give up on their naughty plan to combo disturb me that day. Started with the "hamburger squish squash" in the car, and now, playing "pick bagging" on me. LOL, they never seemed to get enough of picking on me.
Well, they are indeed the best gay buddies on the planet. LMAO!
Noticed how Howey never failed to pose for the camera? the camera loves her so much!
Just then Ho and Daniel are communicating with their noses again, and this time Charlie caught the actions in photos! We all LOL-ed so long at the photos below, even looking back at it now still made me laugh out LOUD!!!
Can you spot whose nose holes are bigger? wahahahahahaha~
After lunch, we head over to 7 Heaven which is a desserts shop. I love ice cream and they have tasty ones!
Apparently two of the guys found the cakes fascinating because they both are a huge fan of cheese cakes~
We ordered fruits ice creams as the Mangoes are out of stock, and we felt so fresh about the serving ideas of the ice creams. Looked at how high were the ice creams in their respective cocktail glasses!
Ahh, cheese temptation..... they did ordered some cakes as well.
And Irean asked for the special mango ice cream once the stocks of mangoes are in! But honestly, the menu is kinda disappointing as the mango doesn't taste good as it was shown in the menu's photo.
After we took a group photo in the shop, Irean told Daniel that she and ho wanted to take their luggage and go back rest at Howey's house, so she asked us to follow Ray. Thank goodness Ray was there! and with that, he saved the condition because Irean's intention was to lure Daniel away so that she can go get a birthday cake for the birthday surprise tonight.
My stomach start to get upset after I go up Ray's car, while Daniel still non stop slapping my thigh, I suddenly say "I wan do big business oh, are we going home later?"
Everyone stunned for a while and Charlie suddenly said that he wanted to go toilet as well. Ray tried driving around to find a clean toilet for us. We first stopped at a public swimming club but unfortunately the toilets are all closed, so we were forced to find another functional toilet.
We arrived at a so called reserved rainforest forest place, it's actually a place for people to jog in the evenings, just like Bukit Padang. Thank goodness there's a very clean toilet, and no one is inside! GOOD!! Then I can have all my space and time doing the "big business" inside. I heard Daniel and Ray talking so clearly from inside the toilet, and suddenly Daniel called my name repeatedly.....
"Why are you guys standing outside the toilet o!"
"Wahahaha, cannot meh?"
"GO FAR FAR EH!!"
"We wait you here mar."
"GO FAR FAR YOU GUYS!!"
"I will protect you de."
"ISH WHAT PROTECT PROTECT OH, GO FAR FAR EHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Luckily they did walk away after that, I guess? Actually I dunno where they went to hide, because the time I came out from the toilet, no one was around, I try looking around the bushes and even the canteen, among the cars, and find no one. So I just walk further to find a simple playground with swings and seesaws, I've always love swings, so I'm gonna go play with it later, as there are some kids on it now. Just where are those boys?! I sat at the bench replying an SMS, was going to stand up and walk around after replying the SMS, and there they are.....I found them standing stunned few steps behind me when I suddenly stand up and turn around, facing them straight. Their face expressions are so funny I missed out the chance to snap a photo of it.
"Haiya, cant scare her geh."
"In return, we yang got stunned. Palui."

"Go far far ehhhhhhhh........"

and we all played like a kid that time! laughing playing here and there reminds me of my days when I used to spend the weekend at my grandmother's house, always walking to the nearby playground and playing basketball at the basketball court with my younger brother and an older cousin.
Now that we had all grown up, I kinda missed those lovely days, where we don't seemed to have any worries at all.
After that I told them I wanna walk the park route for once, and they asked me "you want the big circle or the small circle?" I excitedly said "The big one for sure!", Ray's eyes widen in shock. "You sure you wanna take the big route? you gonna faint after the walk." After studying the route map, I changed my mind, as I am not wearing any sport attires, I wouldn't wish to have sore legs in the end of the day. Plus, I don't enjoy walking wearing the sandles I was wearing that time.
Even with one simple caution board like below, the two guys can still make naughty jokes out of it, until we laughed all the way up the route.
Seriously, the route was so hard to walk! Compared to the jogging track in Bukit Padang, this is so exhausting even when you are walking, because the route is actually steep going up and down, there're hardly any 0 degrees route that you can walk without using extra leg energy.
No wonder the two of them can be so fit, Ray said they always come here for jogging session in the evenings last time. Gosh, I think you probably have to use triple the energy for this jogging track compared to the one in Bukit Padang. Now I understand why Ray was shocked just now. LOL!
We reached a hill place looked alike in the middle of the jogging track, and from there, you can see the whole Sandakan view. It was kinda amazing cuz I felt like I have climb the mountain and reached the top of it.
The journey back to the entrance was even difficult than the route we walked up just now, I felt like I might just slipped and fell downwards the track route as I walk, the hill gets even steeper until I have to take off my sandles and walk barefooted! To make things worse, the rain is actually drizzling that time.
"Can walk ma? want to hold my hands?"
"I'm still okay, I just have to walk slowly."
"Come, I carry you down the hill lar."
"Carry?! ui you don't joke eh. LOL"
"No joke wor, not scare lar, I don't mind de."
"Eee, no lar, I'll just walk this slowly."
When I reached the playground again at the entrance, I was so relieved and happy because I made it despite the rain and the steep route! I walked the whole route successfully! I even danced to B.E.G's abracadabra that made Charlie followed in the dance. LOL!
Everyone was all in sweats + rain, I just hope no one gets sick the next day. Ray brought us to the turf club after that. There was an empty road track for small go-kart, but the place seemed to be closed or abandoned, no one was around, and not even a fucntional go-kart was available. I at first thought that I will have a chance to try on the kart, but unfortunately it's only in my imagination for now.
I tried to pose with the abandoned old kart, it's probably not functioning anymore.
We tried to pose as models for a few shots from Charlie, no matter how he asked us to pose, this is the best he get, err...don't you feel it weird/funny from some angle? LMAO.
There's a horse field beside the go-kart track, and I saw white horse on the grass from far!! Suddenly all the wedding stuff are pictured inside my head. This is what I want for my future wedding photo. I was too amazed with the view I forgot to take pictures of it, because we were sitting inside Ray's moving car. I was a bit sad because we couldn't enter the club for a nearer photo.
So we moved on to a sports stadium, Charlie said this is where he was doing his outstation work few weeks ago when he came to Sandakan. The place looked similar to the stadiums in Likas. It's a place for sports.
While we were walking and exploring the place, suddenly we saw a moving object on the pond surface quite far from our position. We thought we saw a water snake as the head of the moving object surface from the pond and it's swimming fast! We all tried to get a nice photo of it, but it was too far and too fast for the camera. Just then the object emerged from the photo surface and flew up to the sky, all of us almost fell to the ground looking at the flying swan-sort-of-bird. LOL =.=
We walked to a place with a high pole and some stone bench and decided to have a rest.
Just then, all of the photo session thing starts again, and I was asked to do some sexy-killin pose, I was like WTF that moment as I was not in the mood for it. Unless it's a photoshoot day and I am wearing a suitable outfit for it, then I'll pose infinity times for the camera. hahaha!!
As we walk further up, we spotted this tree that looked somewhat like a fruit tree, but upclosed, it's only a flower tree. I bet when the flowers blossom fully, the tree will surely looked super pretty.
After the jogging track, we found ourselves on the feet massage thing, I forgot the name of it, LOL! 3 of us tried walking on it, and Ray was so fit! He walk the circle with such relaxing effort for so many rounds! I felt the pain once I stepped up on the stones~ T.T~ this obviously show how unhealthy and unfit I am! Charlie was in pain as well he was constantly making sounds of pain every seconds.
Further up, we found some parallel bars, see how Ray can easily push himself up! and he can even turned 180 degrees and come down facing the opposite side. Even Charlie was greatly impressed with him. I was like "is this guy an athlete or what".
Found a small playground for the kids again, this time with slide, I LOVE SLIDES TOO! LMAO, kids mode totally on for the day!
We decided to head back home afterall since Daniel has to go take the bullshit tarts for Irean, so all of us sat and rested a while. After all those exercises today, we felt that all our calories have been burned and energy drained, we were so hungry and sleepy!
Just then Ray took out his handphone and opened Tom the speaking cat, I was talking to Daniel at that moment, when we suddenly heard the funny voice of me speaking, everyone burst into laughter in his room! The more we laugh, the more Tom imitate us laugh, and the more it sounded funnier, which made us laughed even more, in the end we were all sitting on the floor, and some on the bed with our stomach cramped! LMAO!
When we finally stopped laughing, Daniel decided to show the phone to his grandmother. His cute grandmother who doesn't know anything about the application, talked and laughed when Tom imitate her voice in a funny sound. The more she talked, the more we laughed. Even Daniel's mum was laughing non-stop all the way from kitchen til the bathroom, the rest of us continued to laugh inside Daniel's room as we heard all the funny talking as well. Things got so funny his mum actually said "mum you pls don't continue talk anymore, the more you talk the more it will imitate you" while laughing!
Okay stop laughing, it's time to go! We'll be heading to 1Malaysia for our buffet dinner. It's the night that we have been planning and waiting for. LOL!
When we arrived at the restaurant, Ho, Irean and Howey had already started their dinner, while we quickly take our seats and start feasting! All the laughing made us even hungry!
We asked for two soups, one is TomYam and one is Broth. We actually eat continuously the whole time, until the last stage, I was having a small competition with Ray to see who can eat more between the two of us. The rest of them claimed that they are already full with food. Me and Ray took same portion of shells + clams as we want to have a fair fight, LOL!
Just when we are enjoying our shell competition, one of the waitress suddenly show up at our table with the surprise birthday cake, everyone was stunned in an instant, while Daniel tried to hold back his laugh, I pretend that I do not know anything and continue eating my clams. Whereas Ho pretend to ask "what is this", Irean and Charlie remained in silence. Meanwhile, Howey was giving the "I dunno" and Ray is asking "whose cake is this?" and "I think you got the wrong order?", denying til the end, I saw the face of the waitress slowly turn sour, so I quickly say in loud "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIEL!!"
Everyone finally laughed out and felt relieved but Epic-failed at the same time as well. Words cant actually describe the atmosphere that time, you just gotta be there to go through the whole thing, I LMAO-ed everytime I thought of it.
The shop is about to close, that's why they speed everything up, and made us in a desperate situation to start the surprise party right at that moment.
We tried to be as calm as we can be, and trying to make the party a successful one. Candles light please!
Another Epic-failed moment is when Daniel found out that 28 candles were lighted instead of 26. LOL! I guessed the waitress wished him to be two years older.
But when the birthday song was sung half way, 4 candles were out, leaving 24 candles left on the cake, everyone LMAO once again, setting the third epic-failed moment.
Aww, finally he made his wish and blew the candles. We tried to make the cake cutting ceremony a bit happening so we decided to pull some party poppers aiming at the birthday boy's head.
Then they asked me to present the "graduation certificate" to the birthday boy. LOL, it's actually his birthday present.
After receiving the "cert", of course we got to have a lil photo taking session. That's when I take out all the crazy stuffs, christmas hat and eye masks, LOL!
Irean said the cake was a joke for Daniel since he likes to joke and goof around, but after I tried the cake, nothing seems to be special or unusual about it.

After a full and heavy dinner, it's time to leave, group photo please!

They wanted to have another yum cha session so we head to the place which we wanted to go last night.
Upon reaching the place which was situated on top of Nak Hotel, it was called Ba lin.
Everyone LOL-ed at this funny photo, it was not mean to be taken like this, it's just a coincidence at a wrong angle, and Ray's expression was so supporting to the whole photo.
We can see the night view of Sandakan's town from the top of the building. It was pretty, and the place was kinda windy since it was situated on top of the roof.
The place overall was kinda romantic, all we saw are couples having a drink there. Even the decorations are Bali-inspired. That would explain where the name Ba Lin came from. The place was very nice and pretty, but too bad there have no space for 7 peoples and I must say, the drinks are super pricy.
So we decided to change to Sail Cafe, which was the place I came to this morning!
The view at night differ from the view in the morning, at least it's not hot anymore now. The place was actually kinda romantic at night, with the candle lights on top of the table, aww, I just love the whole feel and atmosphere.
After another round of chit chats and drinking session, we finally call it a day at around 11.40pm.
"Naaaa, tonight no need sleep liao lor."
"Wow, you no need work meh tomorrow?"
"Need ar."
"Then how you wanna stay up the whole night o?"
"Sleep a while only can de lar."
"You said de ar, then we 3 talk the whole night only de lor, no need sleep."
We reached home at 12.10am, just then Charlie turned around and say "Hey, it's passed 12am already, so it's officially your birthday! Happy Birthday Legend." and shake Daniel's hand, "Haha, thank you thank you.", Just then he suddenly look at me, and I jokingly open my arms. The funny thing is, he actually open his arms too in return, and start walking towards me. At a moment there, I was stunned myself because I didn't expect him to do that, and blurted out "Wow you not scare ar?". He hug me tight when he said "No I wont scare de.", Still feeling a bit stunned, I only manage to giggle and pat him saying "Happy Birthday Legend".
When I almost finished packing up everything, Daniel suddenly said "You cannot bath tonight.", I looked at him puzzled, and ask "how come?" Then he told me his friend once told him that one cannot take bath after an alcohol drinking session, especially after midnight. His face was so serious that time it kinda stunned me a little, I tried joking with him saying "Ahh, I never follow such rules, I even enjoyed taking my bath during the midnight hours, because I used to sleep right after bath, it feel so refreshing." He was standing in front of me, still with his serious face saying "Later will masuk angin ar.", Okay.......feeling a bit weird, I kinda listened to his serious words.....
"True or not de oh? Nevermind lar, once in a while mar, plus, I only drank one glass of beer wor, not strong alcohol pun."
"You wanna try ask Ho?"
"Huh....ask him ar, naa you call him lar."
"You call mar."
When I picked up my phone, I just realized I never asked for Ho's new HP number, so I called up Irean instead. But still in the end, I threw the phone to Daniel, buahahaha~ According to him, it's best to rest for at least one hour first before taking my bath~ Okay then, YES SIR! gonna take my bath at 1.20am then =.= After Charlie finished his bath, Daniel hurried take his turn. Everyone looked so tired and the ticking clock only reminds us all that it's time to get back to our normal life tomorrow. In order to keep us all awake, we started to talk, talk and talk throughout the rest of the time....
Daniel then took out one gift box and hand it over to me, once I opened the box, all the WPF merchandise and medals are stored inside. Charlie was looking at all his World Pump Festival's stuffs in amazement as I took it out one by one from the box. Everything was brand new and nicely kept inside a gift box, the only thing I wanted to take is the WPF medal which seems to be shining in front of our eyes. Daniel even took out a WPF cap and I wear it on my head. Charlie's eyes are blinking in disbelief, and finally today he get the chance to know the so called "LEGEND" more.
Later Daniel took out another box, he give it to Charlie as a gift, when Charlie opened the box, we were shocked to find a PUMP pad inside, I quickly sleep on the pad while Charlie standing stunned, lost his words, lost his expressions, and lost his actions at the same time. He probably could not believe that Daniel is actually giving the pad to him.
I was actually over-exhausted that time I forgot to take any photos. Well, I guessed certain things are only meant for the eyes but not the camera. I drag my heavy body up unto the bed and prepare to sleep. I was waiting for the guys to talk in order to keep me awake, but instead they talk less so that I can sleep!
In the end, I fell asleep quick without noticing, and I become the first one who cant stand to stay up whole night for chit chat session. LOL
