The first thing I saw in the movie trailer, all I think about was the cornrows on the kid's head....I always wanted cornrows like that since I was in secondary....but not a single family member or friend who knew how to do it.....
When Paul mentioned that the kid actor name was Jaden Smith, I was like @.@.....Will Smith's son?! No wonder Will Smith was one of the producer of the movie.... but why does he looked different here in the movie? I remembered Jaden with afro hairstyle, which I don really like it, now when he got himself cornrows, owh man, he's so damn cute!
I always love cornrows! and I love cute guys with cornrows, just like Tae Yang.....awwww *blush* I told myself I have got to watch this movie! few days ago, Sarah even post something on my facebook that goes "gal, u watch karate kid dy??? their dance machine is AWESOME!!! punya syiokk.." WHAT?! dance machine?! this in an instant made me wanted to watch it even more badly!
I was thinking to go watch it on Wednesday night, which is cheaper since it's movie day....but sadly I am not convenient to go out that night....so I have to postpone the plan....and since I cant find anyone to watch it with me, I actually plan to go watch the movie alone!
Finally, it's Saturday and I certainly don have the mood to work, it's weekend beybeh! and today, I decided to go watch karate kid! I must watch it today! So I randomly post a status on facebook, asking who will be interested to go watch the movie with me....since I'm alone..... surprisingly, I got different reations from some of my frens.............FUNNY!
In the end, I end up going for the movie with Paul! Chin was busy with his shop so he cant join us today.....we tried our luck at Growball centre point and sadly the 2pm show is full!! Owh man, I didn saw this coming! I wouldn wanna give up, so I said "do you think Suria have seats for us?" paul said we can give it a try, and off we went to Suria GSC....and YES!! we were delighted to find two nice seats for the 2:50pm show!
The movie was awesome!! I gave it a 9 out of 10 star rate! where did the 1 point lost to? There was this last part of the movie where you can obviously see Dre's feet not hitting Cheng's face.....if it was to be taken in a slighty better angle, everything will be perfect! Overall, the storyline was superb! The actors and actresses...just one word, fantastic! I saw the dance machine Sarah!! I hope Sabah have something like that!!! IT WAS AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!!! Gosh, my words of astonishing couldn stop to be murmured throughout the movie....LOL! Jaden is a good dancer! awwww man, LOVED HIM SO MUCH IN AN INSTANT!!There was a part of the movie where Jackie Chan cried, it made me cried as well, I'm not sure was it because I thought of him, or was it because I thought of my life for the past 22 years.....No matter what was the actual reason behind, I know the one meaningful line he said had gave me strength inside:
"Life will knock us down, but we can choose to stand back up, remember, be stronger!"
