Hari Raya 2010

".....Satu hari di Hari Raya; Ku lihat cahaya bersinar indah....."

When you hear the songs are playing everywhere you go..... you know Hari Raya is here again.
This year, I was planning to go outstation for the long holidays.... browsing thru the net and found out that the airplane tickets are sooooooo expensive! Just then Irene told me that she was thinking to go back to Sandakan to visit her relatives..... that's when something struck me, LET'S GO TO SANDAKAN TOGETHER! Too bad the happiness only lasted for 2 days as we couldn't get any bus ticket to Sandakan due to the sold out tickets for the whole week. I didn't expect myself to be visiting to peoples' house either, as I have been stucked at home for the past two years.
The day before Raya, Aubrey said his aunt will have an open house welcome and he asked me to come along, I wanted to! but I promised to go shopping with Irene earlier already. So sad Aubrey! I missed the chance to go to your grandma's house and go watch Resident Evil! T.T~ Hey you guys ar, stop seducing me with luxurious foods and alcohols.....D-A-A-Y-M~
Just when I was thinking where to go on the second day of Raya, I fell asleep and waking up early next morning to my non-stop ringing phone. I was not in the mood that time because I don liked being disturb while I was asleep, especially when I was forced to wake up in the midst of exhaustion and lack of rest. The last SMS was from Charlie who asked me to get my lazy ass up and be prepared as he will be here to pick me up and head to his colleague's open house. Clothes code = malay clothes.
My eyes widen in an instant! I don have such clothes eh! Actually I have the choice to wear casual dressing, but since this is only a once in a year season, I thought to be different for once this time. I opened my mum's wardrobe and saw an old Kebaya that hasn't been worn for ages! I only remembered seeing my mum in it when I was only 4. I know I wont fit it but yet I still try it on. It's loose at every part, none fits me at all. T.T

In the end, I have to take some pins to clip the dress in place and make it smaller in certain areas. The people inside the car were screaming when they saw me appear with Kebaya. *LOL*

"Fewwittt!!!"

"I thought you said you don have any malay dress?"
"This is not mine, it's my mum's! haha"
"Thank you for fitting our themes today! ahakz"

The first house we were heading to was in Tuaran, which was Charlie's colleague house. Upon arriving, the house was so pretty and clean, but too bad I didn't had the chance to snap a photo of it. The weather was so hot that time I was already sweating in my Kebaya, and my face felt so oily -.- I can't stand to stay any longer outside the house.

We helped ourselves with the lunch and there were plenty different kinds of biscuits and cakes on the small guest table. Charlie aimed for the kuih makmur as it was his favourite Raya food. Gosh! We finished the whole container of makmur in under 5 minutes?! I LOL-ed! Stella said you can expect that to happen when Charlie is around!
We didn't sat for long at the first house as we need to head to the second house after that. So after we finished eating, we told the owner that we had to make a move first.

The second open house was in Penampang area, which belongs to one of their Red Crescent member? *lol* not quite sure, cuz I saw a lot of Red Crescent members. We helped ourselves through the foods again which was placed outside.
Before we left, we took a photo together with the owner of the house.....feeling malay-ish?
At the first take of the photo, I was standing at the near far end of left side, they were laughing when they saw it and said "napa ko berdiri di sana jauh sangat? kalau kami potong ni gambar ni, terpotong suda la ko, hahaha!" So I was asked to switch places for the second took, I LOL-ed when I saw the photo, I was really separated from the group. haha~

Just then Charlie said let's take a photo together since we were wearing malay clothes together today. That's when some crazy ideas imerged.

"I was thinking to put my hand on your shoulder ba just now cuz you were too far."
"hahaha, is it? so you want another take?"
"Can...can I?"
"Okay sure.""We should try taking a scandalous photo together."
"hahahahahahahahaha! owwwwww you naughty boy, come on let's do this beybeh. "
"was thinking to hug you from behind, haha, you mind ka?"
"for the photos I don mind, terus tomoro got new profile picture liao. hahaha."
"yezza. ahakz""hahahahahahahahahahaha!! astaga betul betul pasangan pengantin melayu ni!"
"this will be the biggest scandal of the year. ahakz."

And that's how we get two scandalous photos..... this would be the huge scandal of the year, not only my friends will be buzzing about it, his friends are gonna buzz as well, and not forgetting the pumpers! *LOL*

Adakah I looked like I'm pregnant?! *faint* now the whole world thought that we were together already. Looking at the comments his friends post on his profile picture, I almost suffocated laughing reading every single one of it! I LOL-ED A LOT!!!!!!!

After all the eatings, we need to get the calories burned!! Don't you wanna stay fit and maintain your body in it's shape? Off we head to Asia city. Centre point was crowded with PILAKS! and I hate it!! too bad I didn brought any extra clothes and shoes along. So I didn get the chance to PUMP that day~ T.TEver saw people berjoget on PUMP?Charleston is trying to learn PUMP, yay! we have newbie!Stella and Aubrey are trying out the 3rd version of the DDR.
When we were not on the PUMP or DDR machines, we were on the kids' machine -.- there were so many of them there and the fun square has zero visitors! So we wanted to be the kids as well! *hahahaha*

Taking photos that day made all of us missed Syam's DSLR. I guessed all of us missed posing and taking nice photos with NIKON D90~ *haha* so we decided to just snap a few photos since my camera is not high tech enough to take great photos.

Some of us were hungry again after dance session, so we head to CP's Palm Cafe to have our dinner..... and *DUP* Charleston's memory card dropped into Aubrey's soup! while both me and Stephie were eating with two spoons and two forks. Everyone LOL-ed.... what is going on with us? Sleepy already?

We call it a day after dinner and head home. And to our awful ending of the day, all 6 of us were suffering from serious diarrhea, that made us went into the toilet for more than 5 times that night! Disturbing our sleeps and making us super dehydrated til the next day. Even til the next day, the diarrhea hasn't stopped! *argh* we were all suffering from "asshole on fire" mode~ hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Continuing tomorrow at Shai's house together with the pumpers. I didn't brought my camera that night as my mum took it together with her to a friend's wedding dinner. T.T~ I lost the chance to snap many funny + crazy moments as Shai's house became a total chaos that night!

HIGHLIGHTS including :
- Zam was so handsome in his white malay clothes.
- FLY became the teacher of the house.
- Shai changed into his black malay clothes to match Zam.
- I was hugged and chased around by kids because of Connie's camera.
- I made a kid cry because of I couldn't gave her Connie's camera.
- Charlie became the bad uncle who wanted to slaughter the rabbit.
- Connie became the aunty that wanted to kidnap the rabbit.
- David became the police.
- Melissa became the army.
- David then became the theif that fell in love with Melissa after he was caught by Melissa.
- Zam became the ustad garang.
- Charlie became my boy and thereafter Lee became my boy as well.
- Aubrey and FLY as the pasangan pengantin yang bersanding.
- Charlie's shirt was bitten by a kid which made him yelled for help.

I did snapped some photos with Connie's camera~ not sure when she's gonna post it up~ haha, but anyway, it was a total chaos night and it made everyone laughed, one thing's for sure = everyone had fun! and the food was awesome! no more diarrhea! hahahaha~
