Second trip to Sandakan =) - Day 4

Ugh, it's that day again, I seriously don't like "departures".

But then....Daniel! Why do you have to wake me up so early in the morning?

It's only 6:50am on a Public Holiday morning and my flight is at 2.25pm~ T.T

Owh yea, I almost forgot that I have to go to the market =.=

But before that, let's get some breakfast nearby =)

This morning, we'll have fish noodles.

It's not noodles with fish meat, It's noodles made from fish fleshes.

*Kon lau fish noodles.

*Fish noodles in soup.

We went to the town after breakfast at 8.30am.

Unlike the first time, the whole family were there to accompany me this time! @.@

Weee!! I even got good bargain from the market.

Daniel's parents are good in getting good bargain, well, obviously they are familiar with the peoples and they knew what's the best =)

Thank you SO MUCH! my mum would be delighted to have such pretty "ha mee".

Will send you guys a container of rice dumplings later =)

Daniel's mum dropped at the saloon to get her hair wash.

The rest of us head home as I have to pack up everything into my bags and get ready for my flight in the afternoon.

We manage to get a few packets of "Tau Fu Fah" from the market, and it was delicious =)

Daniel's mum even told the seller I'm her foster daughter that made everyone laugh!

While his dad is watching television in the living room, the two of us are like two big naughty kids around the house!

Daniel!! You and your naughty hands are all over my ass today!

You just love my ass that much don't you, naughty big boy ;P

And off we started an "ass fight", causing chaos in the room.

Not long after that, it was 12.30pm, clearly it only meant that it was time to head to the airport =(

The sun is striking hot, and I was sweating like a pig after we went out from the house.

It's a bad decision that I wore a cap on my head + bandana around my neck =.=

Well, blame me for loving Big Bang so much ;P

We picked up Daniel's mum from the saloon and off we went to Kim Fung for lunch.

Another session of "head banging war" erupted inside the car, WOI naughty Daniel!

Ugh, last Sandakan meal for me ='(

We ordered Raddish Pickles + Fried Dumplings + Liong Cha.

I have to admit, even foods from the normal market of Sandakan tasted so delicious, it will make you feel like not leaving at all.

My phone rang and Ray was at the airport since like half an hour ago. @.@

Off we head to the airport at 1.15pm. I was afraid that I'll be late for my flight.

After what happen during my last trip to KL, I always reminded myself must be very early for any trips in the future.

After the check in procedure, my heart seriously began to sunk.

Daniel skipped work today, Ray was waiting for me at the airport for half an hour, Daniel's parents even accompany me to wherever I wanted to go, not forgetting all the free rides and foods.

After four days, everyone were there to send me.

I constantly hold my phone and my bag tightly and reminded myself not to cry at all.

The 5 of us are standing in front of the departure gate doing nothing for at least 5 minutes.

We all LOL-ed out when Daniel's mum said "Too heavy hearted to go in?"

Finally, I said a big "THANK YOU" to all of them, wave "goodbye", grabbed my bag, and walk into the departure gate with a smile.

I did well, I did not cry.

While waiting for gate B to open, I SMS-ed with Daniel & Ray.

Ray asked me to turn my head and look for them at the window before boarding the plane.

Too bad, I think I was too far away because I cannot see any human beings. LOL!!

Sitting inside the plane, I was ready for home, I somehow missed KK a lil =)

Thank you Daniel for booking the plane ticket for me, I got a nice seat beside the window, and many overseas tourists are sitting around me.

For the first time, I felt like I'm not sitting in a Malaysia plane. LOL!

I did well, but I guessed it's not well enough.

My tears finally drop the moment I saw the big "Sandakan" word on top of the airport.

Goodbye Sandakan and it's people, you all have been so good to me, I'M SO GONNA MISS YOU ALL ='(

I'll be back again someday =)

There was a little boy whose 1st love

Second trip to Sandakan =) - Day 3

"Grace....."

My eyes opened when I heard the soft voice calling my name beside my ears.

Daniel is heading for work today early in the morning, and he hand me a bunch of keys just in case I wanted to go out later.

My head seems to be very heavy, I only managed to open half of my eyes, must be the effects of alcohol last night.

After a slap on my ass (LOL!!), I was left alone sleeping at home.

My phone rang about half an hour after that. Guessed I cant even have a good rest today.

My mum was worried about me not getting a flight back to KK tomorrow.

GOSH!! I just realized I haven't book any airtickets back to KK, greattttttt =_=

and I didn't even bath last night after back from home! awesomeeeeee =_=

I forced myself to wake up, and start doing everything I need to do...

Brush my teeth, Clean up my face, Take a bath, Wash my clothes, Book my airticket.....

Breakfast?

owh yea, I thought we were going to Sandakan Hotel together for breakfast?......like now?

I guessed Ray haven't wake up yet huh. lol.

Shouldn't have drank so much last night =.=

Daniel's dad came home suddenly which startled me a little.

He even feed me with oat since Ray haven't arrived at 11am. LOL!

We chat a little before I went out.

And as we planned yesterday, we head to Sandakan Hotel for breakfast. Brunch to be exact.

The only difference is without Daniel.

This is the place with the best dim sum in Sandakan =)

*Their famous chrysanthemum tea.

really the best to have with dim sum! =)

I still can feel the taste of it now inside my mouth.

*UGH!!! It tastes really really good, I was speechless after I ate the first one. Too bad I was fed with oat at home earlier, if not, I can eat even more than this!

Ray then drove to a new housing area, he seems to be interested in getting a new house?

I dunno, but we have been driving in and out of old and new Tamans around Sandakan.

But then, this Taman is very beautiful, and it's still new.

There're even houses still in the process of renovating.

Here comes our SS photos session again, LMAO.

Then we found a place with easy gym equipment.

I first thought that it was a playground for kids from the colours of the equipments.

I wanted to play swing so much, LMAO.

There goes our gym session, we even tried out every single equipment there.

Amazingly, these gym equipment works really well, we are seriously sweating after all those try out session!

How I wished my Taman has something like this.

When we were on our way to Sepilok Orang Utan rehabiliation centre, Ray's car broke down and we were forced to stop at the Futsal Centre.

After getting some help from the car wash business owner there, seems like the fan in front of the engine has broken down, causing an instant rise of temperature of the car engine.

Both Ray's dad and uncle appear not long after that to take the car for repairment.

We went to hangout at Whimsy while waiting for the car to be fixed. Surprisingly, it was fixed in only 30 minutes. @.@

LMAO, our journey continued after that, but it was already 4.50pm, so we couldn't make it to the Sepilok again =.=

Changed our plan and head to drink liong cha then.

*24 tastes.

This cup of liong cha is like magic, it's taste was originally bitter, and everytime you add a little sugar water, the taste will change.

No wonder it was called "24 tastes"

*That funny waitress gave me "white fungus with longan" when I clearly asked for "loh hon guo".

Good thing I love white fungus too.

Feeling bloated with water after all those liong cha, we seriously need a evening walk before our steamboat dinner.

We're back again to that rainforest park!

It's where we went before steamboat half a year ago too =)

Asked Daniel if he wanted to join us after work, he rejected it.

Seems that he was too tired from everything and work.

Owh well, steamboat dinner tonight is just the two lonely peoples then.

Back to the place where we last have a our dinner half a year ago - 1Malaysia Steamboat Restaurant.

All the memories and images reflashes back in front of us.

Everytime we saw that chiller beside the counter, we will burst out laughing remembering that total failed moment of the cake presentation.

It's a silent night tonight, as the small round table only consists of me and Ray.

No more clam challenge tonight, haha.

We just slowly enjoy every bits of our foods and talked about the crazy night half a year ago.

*owh! we get the chance to make our own ABC tonight =)

After the dinner, we were feeling so full, and ahh~ I'm satisfied =)

Food is heaven =)

So we decided to have a walk in town, love the lights at night.

*The last time I was here, I don't remember the place with colourful lights situated on top of fat cat cake house @.@

*Seeing the name of this shop, we straight away thought of Charlie! lol.

*The last time I walked this alley, it was with Daniel in the morning.

Now I walked this alley, it was with Ray at night. lol.

Half a year ago, the 7 of us had our last yum cha session here before the 4 of us leaving the next day.

Today, it's a bit silent as only me and Ray are sitting beside the pavement here looking at the sea and chit chat while waiting for Daniel's call.

At the end of the day, Daniel still came out to look for us.

All five of us met at Subway, apparently he asked us to join the yum cha session with two of his friends.

Too tired?

I guessed I'm feeling the sad "departure mood" already.

Daniel's friend drive us home after that, he brought us through the cemetery road at 12am.

"Let's see if we can meet any 'friends' here." LOL!

After the cemetery road, there was a small place with.....AH-GUAS!!!

Daniel's friend said that I should see "ren yao" before heading home, hahaha!

OMG, we teased and LOL-ed so much in the car as one of the ah-gua is promoting himself to us.

I never knew Sandakan has their own "Kampung Air" as well, LMAO.

Today reached home early, and it's that time to pack again =(
