Hello Sandakan for the second time =)
I was still considering "to go" or "not to go" on the day before the trip, cuz I haven't even got the tickets.
Last minute decision & preparation is always risky.
Just as I thought, things are not going smoothly.
The bus to Sandakan doesn't have a 8am trip, that's when I found out that Tung Ma Company's bus schedule has changed.
Not even a bus back to KK from Sandakan on the 17th May 2011!
Should I just cancel my whole trip?
Received FLY's sms saying that she's already at Kim Fung as early as 7am.
I was abit stunned as I did not even expect her to be there so early.
Ok, last decision >> I'm going to Sandakan no matter what.
The bus today was a bit silent as I was travelling alone.
Luckily sitting beside me was a chinese girl, I wouldn't want to stand sitting beside a pilak for 6 long hours.
The bus was moving pretty slow today, and there was alot of road fixtures along the way, and even a car accident.
Finally arrived Kim Fung at 4pm, that long hectic 7 hours of bus ride made my waist sore and pain. T_T
Found FLY at Whimsy playing DDR with Billy. lol.
Then she brought me to eat at the market.
My first meal in Sandakan is Fried Dumplings =)
Although my stomach was not feeling well, but when Sandakan food is served in front of you, you have got to eat it no matter what. LOL.
Met a new friend today, another DDR player, Daniel's friend, his name is Kevin Liew =)
Fly brought me to walk around at Kim Fung's night market around 5.30pm.
Finally I got the chance to come here since I missed the last time I was here.
We are trying our best to resist all those food temptation, plus, our stomach is already full.
There's this soursop juice where FLY said "this is a must drink beverage".
I gotta admit, it taste so good! The best to have for the hot weather nowadays =)
After a few rounds, we got tired and the stomach is too full from the drink.
We decided to take a seat at the chairs in front of a stage. Someone is strumming on the electric guitar so we decided to take a look and have a rest at the same time.
The guitar strumming was good at certain times, but there were times when the band played the music like "malay hard rock" style, we got really annoyed =.=
When we noticed the few guys on stage, we even start to comment on their uncle style!
Never would we expected that the "uncle" who was standing on the middle of the stage was Sabah most famous hakka singer!
Both me and FLY looked at each other with eyes like this >>> O.O when he suddenly start to sing!
Immediately we laughed and FLY asked me to record it down.

Daniel finished his work, and arrived at our place around 6.30pm.
We head over to Whimsy after that, and they play DDR again. lol.
Since it was Ray's birthday yesterday, we decided to give him a little surprise.I asked Daniel to not tell him I am going to be in Sandakan today.
We were anxious to see what his reaction is gonna be.
Finally the hakka concert started, and the place was instantly crowded with people!We easily spotted Ray as he was standing behind the crowd.
Slowly, I went to stand beside him.
He was stunned for about 5 seconds upon looking at me, and then he laughed in disbelief.
His face expression was so priceless I blamed myself for not taking any video of it!! argh @.@
SURPRISE RAY~!! Didn't I said "see you tomoro Ray Ray" yesterday? HA HA HA!!
Then they brought me to the front to see the no head lion dance performance.I once saw a video posted in FB, which was recorded in Sandakan, and this was the group they are featuring, it was the famous lion dance troupe in Sandakan.
YAY!! I got to see everything live today =)

Ray then brought us to a hakka restaurant.
*Cant talk? Cant see? Cant hear? wtf =.=

*Lemon ham moi drink
*Grilled chicken chop rice
*Gu lao nyuk rice
*Salad rice
*Bitter gourd with egg
* Asked the waitress to help us take a photo, but it turned out that her hands were shaky =.=After dinner, we head to Encore as Ray suggested to sing K, and I knew FLY wanted to sing for a long time already.
The place was situated beside a hotel, and it was quite highclass.
The place was pretty inside out, so we cannot stop ourselves from taking "syok sendiri" photos =)
We were actually playing and fooling around noisily because we had to wait for a room, all of the rooms are fully occupied that night! wow @.@Finally we got ourselves an empty room at around 10.50pm =.=

Anyway, Ray, you are seriously a very good photographer.
We get to sing for 2 hours until 1am.In the end, me and Ray lost our voices because of the non stop singing session.
Some of the songs we choose need to be sung in high and powerful vocal.
Obviously, we are not everyday singers. LOL.
But anyway, Ray was happy as this was a belated birthday celebration for him =)
