08/10/2011 - Dream House

When I first saw the poster, I thought it was a horror/ghost movie.
And I thought to myself.....okay I'm so not gonna watch this.

I guess what you wished for is what you will mostly not get.
Today I was brought to the cinema and Bridget choose "Dream House".

We have not much options left as both she and Law have watch most of the movies available.
I'm seriously not the horror movie-ghost movie type of person.
And I constantly calm myself down before the movie, telling myself that it's not gonna be horror afterall.
Since......the synopsis wrote that it was more to mysterious and suspense......right?

The four of us are seated in accordance of : Bridget, Law, Daniel , Me.
Bridget was sitting the furthest from me~ and we were like.... LOL?!
I was scared twice throughout the whole movie, and yea, I didn't scream like usual.
I just jumped and close my ears.

Both Bridget and Law were constantly checking on my condition and they were laughing.
The most funniest thing is Daniel who is sitting next to me has ZERO expressions. (LOL.)
Not even a word or expression from him throughout the whole movie.
Which actually made me even stress because I have to make myself as calm as possible.

I tend to lose control of my emotions in horror-ghost movies.
Movies like this made me super uncomfortable and I cannot help it.
I don't scream, but instead it will increase my stress level to the highest point.
I cried, had panic attacks, anxiety, traumatic stress......it feels like I had an emotional breakdown.

I usually imagined things alot after watching horror scenes or movies and it actually made me feeling nervous and shivering non-stop.
I always blamed it on my rich and wild imagination that's why I don't watch horror-ghost movies.

Anyway, the whole story is seriously not a horror-ghost movie.
Just that certain part of the movie will make you jump because of the suspense.
The story plots about Publisher Will Atenton moves from New York City to a suburban Connecticut town with his wife Libby and their young daughters Trish and Dee Dee.

When Trish and Dee Dee start seeing man watching the house from the front yard, Will slowly found out that the house they are staying at was a murder scene for a wife and two daughters.
Will tries to find for more supporting evidences and it leads him to a psychiatric hospital where he discovers a shocking truth about himself and his family.
Will start to get close with the neighbour across his house, and from his neighbour, Ann is where he start to solve the mystery bits by bits.

The movie was actually quite good....
The only thing was it's definitely not my cup of tea.
Luckily the movie duration is only 1 hour 30 minutes.

Bridget and Law head back to home after the movie.
While me and Daniel wait for Audrey for our yum cha session.
I was planning to head straight back home as well but apparently was "tapau" by the both of them since it was a weekend.
The movie ended at 10pm and Audrey only arrived at 11pm. =.=

David then drive us to Lido for supper.
Tonight is the first night I try "luk-luk".
Met Connie and FLY after months, and owh, the pumpers' gathering don't really felt complete tonight as it was only the 6 of us.
I kinda missed the gang T___T
Everyone seemed to be very busy with our own stuffs nowadays we hardly even met each other.

*Everyone is avoiding mamarazi again. (LOL.)

I got my mood spoiled a bit tonight, and I was actually feeling super tired + sleepy + weak + drained, since I just recovered from fever.
Didn't get much chance to talk to Connie and FLY because Audrey was talking non-stop to me. Sorry girls =(
We decided to go home at 1.30am when Zam failed to turn up, and Charlie is not responding to any calls and SMSes.
