O.K.A.Y~
It's a very unusual thing to see Ho's name appearing on my phone.
He actually rang me up just to ask me to go out for a cup of drink.
Which is new to have him planning for a meetup. LOL.
Anyway, moving on to the next day, even Irean was shocked when she knew that Ho is planning a meetup on his own.
Well, usually it would either be me or Irean who is doing all the plannings. LOL.
A good change for a new year? LOL.
Ho invited me, Irean, Eileen, and Dale for the meetup.
Irean asked Kenneth to tag along as well since he is always included in our group's outing nowadays.
The funny part is Ho's intention for the meetup is to introduce his China-HK friend to us.
Which made the whole situation even weirder?
The time was set at 9pm and the venue was Station 360 Damai.
When I was preparing to go out, Ho suddenly called me and asked me to pick up Irean for him.
After picking up Irean, only to found out Ho has to go pick up his two other friends.
Upon reaching Damai, only to found out that Station 360 was not opened that night.
Looking for a last minute change, we decided to move to Kopi Ping which was just beside the Station 360.
The four of us, Eileen, Kenneth, me and Irean decided to order some drinks first while waiting for the three other guys.
We were actually very curious about this China-HK guy.
Who Ho claims to be a "same aged-rich-handsome-humble guy".
What I actually expected was someone who was tall, fit, good looking and outgoing type of guy.
In the end, not only they were late, but we are getting uncomfortable with the environment as well.
The shop was very noisy we cannot even talk properly.
We have to shout and talk loudly like what we usually do in Upperstar. LOL =.=
People are even smoking publicly inside the shop, which made the air super unhealthy.
and the fact that the shop's temperature was actually very hot.
After seeing the China-HK guy, our anticipation dropped to a zero expectation.
He is not even anything near to what we have expected.
What a disappointment. Super LOL.
I guessed maybe I wasn't familiar with China-HK guys. I never met one before, so I never knew what they normally looked like.
All I knew are famous guys from dramas and movies. LOL.
The whole yum cha atmosphere wasn't going smoothly, and it felt unpleasant at times.
Mainly is because we do not know what to talk to each other, and the fact is the shop's environment made it hard for us to listen to each other as well.
Geeeez =.=
I was feeling super sleepy the whole time as I slept late the night before.
And a silent meetup will furthermore turn my sleep mode on.
The mood is seriously not on the hook as we even forgot to take a group photo like we planned earlier.
Ho said that the China-HK guy will be coming to KK more often in the future.
Hopefully things will be better if we are to meet up again next time.
The worst part of the meetup is, I didn't even heard the guy's name.
Ho did introduce, but I forgot. LOL =.=
