[20.12.2015] One Day Preparation Before the UK Trip

24 hours before departing for my UK trip.
Only heaven knows how excited I am. Like seriously.
After counting down for months,
This is it :)

I've been preparing bits and pieces of little things over the past few months.
I didn't really take photos for all of it.
But I'll show you some of the major ones.

My body is always prone to suffer from few little sickness.
Number one on the list is usually migraine and diarrhea.
My migraine series will visit me every month just right before those crucial days.
It's sort of like a warning sign for my menstrual.
But, sometimes when I am lack of sleep or when I am experiencing hyper level of tension and stress,
It tends to strike as well.
Another thing is that I am having a weak stomach myself,
I will either end up having diarrhea or constipation during any of my trip,
AT LEAST ONCE.

I am kinda worried that both of my essential chinese medicines are not allowed inside my hand carry luggage.
Cus I somehow have a feeling that I will need it up on the plane.
First time flying for at least 15 hours with limited excess to any pharmacies or a proper bed to rest.
I can only pray that the pain would not be too serious to handle.

I went for a small shopping in the morning right after my church.
I thought I wouldn't be buying anything again for myself,
But I seriously cannot resist the temptation when I saw some long sleeves Christmas clothing. Argh.
And with the ongoing Christmas sales in all the shops just right in front of your eyes,
How can you go home empty handed right!!! *ROAR*

I ended up buying 5 pcs of long sleeves clothing for a total of RM120.
Considered that this total price is very very cheap and will only happen whenever there is festive discount and sales going on.
Thinking that all of it would come in handy for me in UK,
I ended up bringing only 3 pcs because my luggage is already over full.
I even plan to wear this white and black one either on Christmas Eve / Christmas / New Year Eve /
New Year dinner.
We'll see how about it. LOL.

Few days ago, I was feeling very grateful towards June for lending me her winter clothes,
because she has the most similar body figure and height with me!
Her clothes usually fits perfectly on me.
Only that we have very different fashion sense. HAHAHA.
A month ago, I was so worried calculating about how much I need to spend on my winter needs,
As I only manage to borrow a few sweater, warmer, and jacket from my aunt,
Which are all not even my size and are not sufficient for me to survive for a month there :(

Least would I expected, June texted me right after her two weeks trip from Spain,
Asking me whether I need some winter apparel for my trip,
RIGHT ON THE SPOT! YES PLEASEEEE YESS!!!
I immediately drive over to her house two days later.
She has a mountain of winter apparels piled up on her sofa bed inside her room,
She actually ask me to grab as much as I needed. LOL!
And before I leave her house at the end of the night,
she wished me a good trip and holiday ahead, and even gifted me with a perfume souvenir from Spain.
I appreciated it, you always knew what I needed the most!
Thank you so much June! *huggies*

Oily had always wanted some cook book for himself over in Plymouth.
Since he always cook all his daily meal at home,
He was a good cook by the way :)
About two weeks ago, Oily asked me to get him a complete cook bible for all the chinese cuisine,
But, I couldn't find anything good in my designated budget range,
So I ended up buying these two books,
Which I thought would suit his needs the most.
And I decided to wrap them both up and turn it into his Christmas Pressie :)

Besides that, Oily has also asked me to bring all kinds of Bak Kut Teh ingredients over for him.
I bet he has already been craving for that famous Gaya Street taste for a long long time.
Apart on picking up the finest Bak Kut Teh packets for him,
I also picked up some Japanese food ingredients to be tag along,
As it will definitely come very much in use to a huge Japanese food fan like him.

Just as I have done buying and preparing things for Oily,
It got me thinking hard about what sort of Christmas gift can I get for his chinese course mates.
Cus they would definitely already had what they needed all the time (just like Oily =.=),
I suddenly came across my Nano Blocks at home.
And yes, I ended up buying Nano Block for the three of them, one for each.
The Yoda was an accidental treasure hunt item,
So I just grabbed it for Oily since he was always a huge fan of Starwars :)

Jjang!! This is what my Santarina Gift List look like for this year!
I've decided to clear my Gift Museum before my trip,
It was already a long overdue project since years ago, and I finally take it into action now.
HAHAHA.

Those items which are wrapped in yellow / white / grey wrappers,
Are all gifts I received over the years where they were still nicely packed inside their boxes.
There are even gifts that I received 10 years ago and still nicely put inside the box until today! HAHAHA.
So, rather than having them all getting rotted inside my museum,
I have them all wrapped up nicely again and prepared to be given out for the unfortunate teens in the outskirt areas.

Hopefully, this will become my annual routine to clear and donate my ''still brand new'' properties to the unfortunates.
Next up, it will be my wardrobe when I come back next year.

There are actually two more things that I didn't manage to take a good photo of.
Since it was quite last minute, LOL.

Knowing that I will be meeting up with my primary school best friend, Melanie in London,
I've ordered a Christmas set of handmade soap and skin care products for her from KL,
Some uncommon gifts to pamper her and her boyfie :)

1 Love Gift Bag + 2 Christmas Edition Soaps.
Which the items looked something similar like these.
By the way, these photos were taken directly from Earth Care Soaps Facebook page,

Enjoy the best of Mother Nature :)

Speaking of which, I also picked up something from Bodyshop for one of Oily's childhood buddy, Jason.
Who recently just flew to Plymouth to continue his Master.
I wouldn't want anyone to be left out from my Santarina list :)
I actually picked up two of these cute Bodyshop boxes,
Where I ended up giving the orange one to Oily for his Christmas gift as well.
You know, I cannot stop showering him with little gifts here and there. HAHAHA.

So.... I guess that pretty much wraps up everything.
My luggage is seriously so overloaded and heavy!
Fingers crossed that it is not over the maximum weight >.<
Do stay tune for my next blog post about my upcoming trip!
