Comment : Such an entertaining Martial Art Drama which was adapted by a chinese novel but I have never read it before. I would have given a full marks if it wasn't for the terrible CG effects throughout the whole drama. It has terribly fake editings and unrealistic backdrops which was too obvious. Two things that I loved the most from it were, the strong yet experienced acting casts and fascinating storyline. The starting of the drama is a bit boring and slow, but slowly it gets interesting and fun when everything starts to unfold, until a moment I thought I was watching an investigation story at the end. I somehow felt that the bad guy died too easily in the last episode, and the final battle isn't really as strong as the first few battles. But overall, I enjoy the whole romance story part, lovingly being portrayed out by Wang Yibo and Zanilia Zhao, although they had that 10 years age difference in reality. Not the fire type of chemistry, but more to the cute and naughty kind of chemistry.

Zhou Fei is the granddaughter of a national hero who was forced to become a bandit to serve the greater good. For 20 years, her grandfather, then her mother, were charges with running a secret fort, staffed by bandits. The fort's role is to protect the world against strange, otherworldly warriors intent on bringing their unique brand of chaos to the mortal realm. However, the fort has fallen in status in recent years, and Zhou Fei is sick of being confined to the place of her birth. She longs to escape and makes repeated efforts to get away. But her life changes forever when she almost drowns and is only saved by a free-spirited young martial arts expert named Xie Yun.
The duo forms an unlikely friendship and decides to hone their fighting skills together - a timely decision as malevolent forces are now plotting fresh trouble. The pair begins on an adventure. But as time goes by, they begin to unearth secrets... including that of Xie Yun's true identity.
