"Why don't you find yourself a boy? So that someone can send and fetch you to work everyday."
"Nowadays all the boy suxx, I don't want one, HA HA HA."
I was actually jokingly answering my office cleaner's question...
and that's when we started the topic...
She started to reveal her life story to me....
and we began to chat inside my office room.
She was a pure Indonesian and came to Sabah when she was young, following her husband.
But her unresponsible husband abandoned her and their son when the baby was only 1 year old.
She was forced to bring up the child alone, with no family, relatives nor friends around to help.
She don't even had any money, so she started to work from morning til night falls.
Thank goodness the boss of her working place requested the security's wife to take care of her baby while she was working.
This situation goes on for 5-6 years until her son reached kindergarten level.
Her boss sold out the coffee house which cause all the workers there to move and look for a new job.
She then moved to Penampang with her son and continued to work from morning til night, jobs after jobs just to earn enough money to support his son until he finishes secondary schooling.
She has to constantly bear the renewal cost of two passports so that both she and her son would not be chase off Sabah.
There was once they both has to go to Tawau just because the passport couldn't be renewed.
She strongly believes in God and has an extremely strong faith in christian.
Good thing that her son is very understanding and was taught well by her mum.
Whenever the school is having holiday, her son will come to our office and helps his mum with the cleaning duty.
It was so heartbreaking to hear such real life story.
I can even see all the pain she bears over all these years, clearly written and shown on her face.
If you happen to complain about how your life sux and unfair...
and even blaming everything on everyone.... (I'm one of them *sigh*)
try to think that somewhere out there...
So many more people who suffers more just to continue their life.....
and yet, they didn't even mentioned anything.....
but trying their best to hang on and grow stronger everyday enduring all the given hardships....
God has His own road prepared for each and everyone of us.
Apply the word "appreaciate" in your everyday life.
And you will realized how lucky and happy you are.
Always remember to forgive others and love all your enemies.
Don't stop praying for others and lend our help whenever we can.
"Holy Jesus, every day,
Keep us in the narrow way,
And when earthly things are past,
Bring out ransomed souls at last,
Where they need no star to guide,
Where no clouds Thy glory hide. Amen"
