Today was seriously a very rushing day.
Went to the office to finish off some urgent work in the morning but I was late to office at 8.30am.
Then I have to rush to the airport at 11.30am to catch my flight at 2.05pm.
I was invited to participate in Mamee-Double Decker Distribution (M) S/B Subang Jaya Annual Dinner 2011.
Due to transportation problem arising after we had reached LCCT informed earlier by my manager, Mr David, I was forced to repack my luggage into only one.
I wouldn't wanna risk bringing and carrying around so many bags.
Moreover, I am gonna be at Subang for only one day.
There were so many people scanning their luggages and bags, checking in, waiting for their flight.
The airport was crowded that day~
Well, this is because we will be heading straight to the dinner place after we touched down at LCCT @.@
Her flight was delayed til 3.55pm~~~ (argh, this is so not good~)
The girl who was sitting behind me said "Look at those clouds~ like a big field of comfy pillows, I wanna just roll and sleep on it~"
I have the same feeling as her =)
The plane constantly went into the clouds and went right out from it after that.
It was kinda......FUN. (LOL.)
We reached the dinner place at 7.30pm.
Where Datuk was presenting his speech on stage.
Not only we were late, I felt uneasy when everyone was staring at us the time we walk in to find a seat.
The annual dinner was held at SJK (C) Chee Wen's hall.
The building itself is very huge, with few floors available, our dinner place was on the 2nd floor.
The theme for tonight's dinner was "Masquerade Night".
The door gift turns out to be a Mamee mug.
50% of them are foreigners while 50% of them are locals.
There were dance performances by the workers and karaoke competition held for the office employees.
I was actually enjoying the Hindustan music because it make me wanna stand up and dance with them.
When the event was over, we were sent to Summit Hotel.
It was already 11.30pm.
We hurried check in and prepare ourselves for bath.
I cannot wait to get to bed and sleep~
I love my casual Cheong Sam dress.
And I love my eye liner~
owh well, everything's gonna come off after I take my bath.
Better take some SS photos for the last time before it's all gone.
This is the best part of the bathroom.
For the first time in my 23 years, I was actually taking my bath in a bathtub for the first time.
I've always imagine what was the feel of taking a bath in one of these, and now I finally know.
It was so good I can almost sleep inside it~~ (Ahhhhhhh.)
Too bad there was no bubble bath soap available.
I wanna have one of this in my future home for sure.
(I'mma gonna take everything home with me tomorrow morning, LOL.)
Compared to our last trip to Melacca in 2009 back then, this room is so much comfier and cozy.
There's a mini fridge inside the room, just in case you would like to store some chill item.
This hotel room consists of 3 big mirrors and my favourite would be this one where I can see my whole self =)
We unexpectedly woke up at 6am =.=
Zuraina couldn't sleep with the lights off so I have to left the one near the door switched on til morning.
Even the TV was switched on til morning.
Honestly, I didn't get much rest the whole night as I was constantly waking and sleeping the whole time.
We head to the nearby shops to have our breakfast at Paparich.
Thereafter, we head to KLIA at 11am.
The journey was not a short one, Zuraina's manager, Mr Jason even fell asleep and snored inside the car.
I can't sit peacefully inside the car because the way KL people drive is so S.C.A.R.Y.
Even Zuraina holds my hand from time to time.
The whole airport was super huge, me and Zuraina didn't have enough time to walk the whole of it.
I was too exhausted and super not in the mood to do anything that night.
Finally I requested a photo together before we separated to our own departure hall.
(Ignore my sick and pale face + dark circles and baggy eyes, I felt a little unwell that day, probably is because I did not get enough sleeps.)
We have to move downstairs for the departure.
I'mma gonna take some rest on the plane.
My manager who is sitting two seats away beside me is not talking much, I can see that he is also tired.
I had fish chop and vegetables with noodles for lunch =)
Firefly is not as good as I've expected.
Two things I like about Firefly.
(1) Their aircraft crew are super friendly and nice.
(2) The airport management, facility and system are far more better than Air Asia.
Other than that, the rest of it are just poorer than Air Asia =.=
I didn't get to rest much throughout the whole journey as the engine was so loud and noisy~~
Another reason would probably is because Mr David was sitting two seats away from me as well.
No matter how many times I board the plane, I will always L.O.V.E the feel when the plane takes off and fly up into the sky.
Firefly's route is somewhat different, because during the 5-10 minutes before the plane landed on KK ground, it was somewhat flying so low in the sky that all the buildings and houses and cars looked like monopoly item from my window~
It's my first time looking at something like that and I did not even capture any photos~
The landing was very rough, I got shocked til I jumped from my seat.
I even heard the sound of certain things that fell before the plane comes to a complete stop.
My first impression towards Firefly is seriously not that good. (minus the food part though.)
Upon registration at the main door, you will be entitled with a lucky draw token.
I'm so grateful with this number that night, because this lucky number made me took RM1000 home.
I keep told Zuraina that I won't go up the stage to claim my prize even if my number was called when the lucky draw session just started.
And when the last person took away the grand prize which was a big Toshiba 32' flat screen tv, I was actually relieved that my number wasn't been called. (LOL.)
I was feeling super sleepy my eyes were hardly opened, with my face super oily and abit of backaches, I just wished that everything could end quickly so that we can all go back to the hotel and sleep.
Just when the crowds started to stand up and head to the exit, the MC suddenly asked everyone to sit back because one of HQ's manager decided to take out RM1000 cash as a special lucky draw prize.
Everyone was excited upon hearing so and that was when the suspense begin.
Several numbers were called but it turned out to be "boogie".
After 4 or 5 numbers, suddenly the MC shouted out "8~9~1~7~...." and pause for a long time.
I suddenly looked at Zuraina with a very tense face, and Zuraina was holding my hand tide with her eyes widen.
When the last number was mentioned.... "9~~~~~~", my jaw dropped instantly in disbelief~
Zuraina squeaked a little and my whole body shivered from head to toe.
Everyone was shouting "boogie" while the MC was looking for the possible winner.
I suddenly got the courage to stand up and hurriedly walk towards the stage.
Mr David and some of the HQ managers who was sitting at the other table recognized me all shouted out loud "NAAAAAAAA" til the whole hall can hear their voices while pointing their fingers at me.
And when I came down from the stage, all of them were already standing around my table with very wide smiles welcoming me. (LOL.)
Even Mr David happily teases me non-stop~
hahaha...yay?
This is my first ever lucky draw prize in 23 years =)
Thank you Mamee for this pleasant memory.
