WALAOWEH~~~
It's a super freakin hot day man.
Woke up at 6am when I'm suppose to wake at 5.30am =.=
When I read Charlie's sms, I know I am late already.
Cars were lining up til St.Simon church from Stadium Likas area.
Due to lazyness of waiting and not wanting to join the traffic jam atmosphere, I decided to just park my car at St.Simon and walk to the event area.
Even Dahyeh area and the road outside the Likas basel church were all jammed and packed due to the road block.
I was kinda late and it's so sad that I was not listed in the first 5000 participants =(
I was aiming for the free tee and goodies, too bad they don't even have my size already.
I have no choice but to take the XL size.
Charlie informed me that everyone have to wear the tee for the walk. If not, at least the cap. GOSH.
No wonder it's a sea of red when I arrived just now.
If I have the choice, I wouldn't want to wear any of those. =.=
My tee is seriously overly super-sized.
and the design is different than the first 5000 participants' tee.
I wanted Charlie's tee =(
I liked the design with the trees at the bottom of the tee.
Certainly looked much more nicer than mine.
Me and mum =)
I tried to make my tee looked as small as I can. LOL.
Ahhh, as long as people can see the red piece of clothes on my body then it's fine.
No matter how I wear it right? LOL.
Should be the first and something new for Irene, Johnathan and Creed.
and he got the same shirt as Charlie >.<
After a warming up session in front of the stage, the crowd moved to the starting point.
Seriously a huge crowd today, should be more than 5000 people were present.
Man, the weather was seriously HOT.
Our skin are already burning even before the walk started.
and I applied as many layers of sunblock as I can. LOL.
The balloons looked like little gummy sweets from afar. I felt like chewing bubble gum all of a sudden.
It was meant to be a walkathon.
So the crowd were moving super slow since the very beginning.

Upon reaching the first check point at the Tanjung Lipat roundabout.

And I must say, this is the worst check point system ever.
Not only the crowd are stopping down to read at the "fact board" which was put up beside the road, everyone was pushing around just to get their check point.
WTF, they only have like 2 or 3 peoples distributing the check point card.
It was a super damn hot day and there was this huge human jam in the middle of the journey.
My hair was pulled, my shirt was pulled, I'm being pushed here and there, my cap almost drop when someone accidentally hit it, people even stepped on my feet and acted like nothing's wrong.
I almost screamed out loud, you have to be there to experience the shitty situation.
I almost fell when people around me are pushing in all kinds of direction, seriously shitness.
This kind of situation happened in City Run 2011 last year, but this year City Run improved and their check point system was super smooth. Thumbs up to DBKK.

Finally finished the whole walkathon and exchange my "kad lapor diri" with a certificate.
Didn't have the chance to get the goody bag as we were not the first 5000 participants to arrive in the morning.
Charlie and his gang managed to get it and inside the goody bag, it includes FOC vouchers to eatery outlets and also some drinks + light snacks.

Manage to snap one photo with Irene while the guys went to take their car which was parked at Dahyeh.
Look at my dark complexion, seriously hate the sun but I cant help to love outdoor activities. LOL.
What's next? should be The Sutera Harbour 7K Sunset Charity Run 2012 =)
