LOL. totally reminds me of Daniel's birthday surprise two years ago.
Picked up the cake at 7.40pm and luckily the shop's employees allow me to place the cake at their freezer.
The employees are super friendly and nice.
I even requested them to help me to light the candles and send it over to our table when we finished our dinner as a surprise.
Huge Cafe Damai.
It's my first time here, and same goes to Sarah and Caroline.
The name of the shop is seriously not a joke.
Their food actually comes in huge portion.
Me, Sarah and Caroline were actually shocked when they served the drinks first.
Our mouths were obviously "stunned til jaw drop". LOL.
It was my first time having such a big cup of milky tea, yum =)
and the best part was the price is actually same with Yoyo Cafe, totally worth to drink here.
Next time, I would definitely suggest this place for yum cha sessions.
When it was time for the surprise, I gave a little signal to the girl.
First, they switched off the fans, which already started to trigger the suspicion.
When Sarah accidentally blurted out how come they switch off the fan and everything, the four of us went silent and stunned for a while.
Then we awkwardly hurriedly continued with other chat topics to kill the awkwardness.
Things got worst when the guy sent small plates and spoons to our table without the arrival of the cake.
All of us went into instant silence looking at the plates and spoons.
This is it, we are screwed.
We looked at Law's reaction and I think he guessed what is going to happen next.
The cake only arrived after a period of time later.
The girl has to U-turn because some of the candles were blew off by the wind.
I should have told her not to light the candles as I have brought a lighter.
Things might be different by then. LOL.
Anyway, we all just have to continue with everything after that.
Doing it the traditional way - sing birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake, take photos.
Here is a short video I took, pardon me for my voice is the loudest, noisiest and I actually sang the birthday song alone. LOL.
Suddenly it makes me seemed like the host and planner of the whole event.
The night ended after we finished the cake and pay for the bill.
Caroline has to leave early because she need to go to the airport to pick up Mc who is flying back from KL.
Hopefully, Law is happy and surprised with everything tonight.
Bridget told me it's the first time he had something like this.
and I could see how nervous and shy he was from the video. LOL.
