Company Training in Malacca(1)

The clock shows 5.15a.m. OMG~ Time to get up and get prepare! I have a flight to catch! It’s my first flight! And I am so excited!

“You will be going to Malacca on the 17^th and be back here on the 21^st” this is what Mr. David told me earlier at the end of July…. The sales administrator from Kota Kinabalu and Kuching were required to make a trip to Malacca where our company’s HQ is situated at for a 5 days SAP System Training…Apparently, both Sabah and Sarawak were the only ones who have not learned to use the system yet from all the states of Malaysia….

I was excited at first cuz this will be my first time boarding a plane…. and also the first time going away from home so far alone…. my parents were very worried for sure….my mum even asked me can I somehow postpone the trip or whatsoever since the H1N1 flu is on the loose….going on a trip to anywhere means that you will be an opened case for the flu…anyone could be a victim….. Well, of course I can’t do so since it’s an arrangement from the HQ….. I am not the boss =.=

I didn’t ate much for breakfast…. Just two pieces of cakes from the fridge… it was my dad’s birthday yesterday…. And my parents insisted to send me to the airport early in the morning…. If they didn’t insisted, I would have called dear for sure…. We reached the Kota Kinabalu airport T2 at 6a.m…. it’s still early though…so we sit and wait for the boarding time… I have one luggage and my handbag with me… the clock shows 6.30a.m and it was the checking-in time for all passengers AK 5121 which is the flight to KL….. I walked to line up and scanned my bag as well….when I was through the check up pit…. I turned to see my parents standing there looking at me as I walked in… I gave them a simple wave as I pull my luggage and walk to the counter inside….

“Mana boarding pass kamu?” Oh o….I said…what was that?! “Saya ada ni ja” I showed the officer my printed-out flight information…. “Oh, ko bulum check in lagi ni. Ko keluar pigi counter luar sana check in dulu.” *dang*….I was a bit puzzled as I did not know what to do exactly…I asked the security at the check up pit just now and she showed me the way….. Now that I’ve know I need to scan my luggage outside and check in for a boarding pass at the counter outside…after that, I went back to the check up pit again…. “Na, ko bilang ko ada boarding pass.” “teda boarding pass nanti tak bulih naik kapal terbang oh.” “first time ka” Lol…this was what the two security asked me when I enter the check up entrance again…. I only managed to laugh by myself…. Sure I looked like a clown if anyone did notice my invisble costume… “Mau pergi mana?” asked the male security. “Pigi KL.” I answered him. “Pigi sana wat pa,cuti?” “Pigi training tu, teda cuti.” “Ba,pegang kuat kuat boarding pas ko tu,selamat jalan.” I smiled when I walk in…..this surely was a somewhat experience….

The waiting lounge was crowded with people! I was like….wow~ this is the first time I saw so many asian foreigner…they were Hong Kong tourists everywhere and all were waiting for departure back to Macau…I sit and wait for my departure door to open…first time boarding an aeroplane…how do I feel? Excited of course! But I acted calm and make myself look like I am used to it…so that people wouldn’t notice that I was actually excited like a kid….lolx~ nothing special inside the plane…it’s sort of small actually….and I can’t imagine it can actually fit more than 100 people….well, I consider sitting inside the plane is like sitting in the bus…the only difference is the window is so small you hardly see anything outside….plus, the feeling of flying is unexplainable….it’s the best feeling when the plane left the ground and flew up to the sky….guessed I liked to fly so much….XD...People are sneezing and coughing so much inside the plane it freaks most of us out....I quickly wear my mask that my mum had given me earlier.....who knows....prevention is always better....XD

“What?!” I received a message when I arrived at KL airport….seems like my colleague from Kuching has a delayed flight….and she only will reach KL at around 1.30p.m~ I was like OMG…I am hungry and thirsty and sleepy at the same time…I am not familiar with KL + there is no place to sleep + I dunno what to eat + what should I do for the next 3 hours plus?! It’s only 10.00a.m when I reached KL….*sigh* pity me….My boss and my parents asked me to sit at the airport and wait for Zuraina…..and I can’t believe I actually sit at the same place and waited for 3 hours plus….I was so tired of sitting in the end I rather stand and walk around….too bad I had a luggage with me which is what made me inconvenient to move around….

“Aiyo~ Take some fast food ma~ They have so many fast food shops there all inside the airport~” said Mr.Ong the taxi driver who the HQ sent to fetch and send us…. Both me and Zuraina didn’t take any food in the plane….so Mr.Ong brought us to a food court along the main high way….Most of the food were spicy….as both of us don’t really enjoy spicy food….all we order are vegetables which are not spicy….After a quick lunch we head back to the roads…Mr.Ong told us many interesting stories and jokes to keep us entertained and avoid letting the atmosphere from getting awkward along the journey...it's the first time I saw a touch n go pit stop....since we don have anything like that in KK here....….after about an hour and half hours journey….we arrived at the Mamee-Double decker(M)Distribution Sdn Bhd outside gate….

We pulled our luggage into the office and went straight up to the account department where we were suppose to arrive at after noon….but instead we arrived at 4p.m cuz of the delayed Kuching flight….all of the staffs were looking at us when we stepped in….they were familiar with Zuraina as she had been working for the company for more than ten years…plus they seen her once before….whereas me….it’s the first time I am in the HQ and I am very new to the company….so people are curious of who I am….We just sit and hang around since it’s already 4p.m….they didn’t have much time to teach us anything….get to know each other first….

The clock shows 6p.m as Ms.LC Goh walked up and said she will bring us to the King’s hotel where we will stay for the next 5 days…..We take our luggage and off we head to her car….We check in at King’s Hotel upon reaching there in just about 7 minutes cuz the hotel is situated near the company….Our room number was 222….quite a pretty number and it’s easy to remember….it was a simple hotel with simple room….one queen size bed and one single…I took the single bed but I dunno why...….swt~ usually I’m used to sleep on queen size bed….Anyway…both of us were to tired we quickly fell asleep after putting down our things and luggage….by the time we wake up…it was 8.45p.m @.@ we were both hungry and freezing cold….cuz the air-con was adjusted with the lowest temperature….we plan to head down to the café to have our dinner….

Zuraina ordered rice for herself and I order mee….at least they have something that is not spicy….*pheewww* it was relieved for us….We managed to walk around to the nearby shops and the nearest petrol station after dinner as Zuraina wanted to go looked around….we headed back to the hotel after she bought a bottle of mineral water….We hurried take turns to take bath…as we were so tired….we wished to sleep straight after bath regardless the wet hair….

*blink blink* *turn right and left* Swt~in the end I can’t sleep cuz it’s not my bed and it’s freezing cold…. I hate sleepless night~!~! sudah lah I so tired for the day….
