After I finished prepared myself, there comes Zuraina….can I be the second one tomorrow? I was thinking to ask her…nah~ later~~ I sit and waited for her…just like yesterday…mean while, I opened the television and hope that I would not fall back and continuing sleeping…although I wanted to do that so badly….around 7.15a.m. we were ready to head to the café and take our breakfast….wondered how would it feel like again being there where everyone is staring at you weirdly….*relieved* I was so relieved when I saw a group of Chinese near the café entrance….and they entered the café at the same time with us…weeeeeeeee~ at last I felt better….with their presence…at least I am not the only Chinese what! LOLX~ Breakfast seems a bit tasty when you are in a good mood….
Just like yesterday, Lih Ching came to pick us at the lobby when we finished our breakfast….*sigh* another sleepy day to sit in the office…I missed my office back in Inanam so much I felt like flying back to Sabah right at that moment! At some point of times, I really couldn’t stand having my days here in Malacca….I wish I can go back to Sabah as soon as possible….since they told me that the system is easy to learn….and actually we only needed 2 o 3 days to learn it….we could have been flying back to our hometown by this evening! But our airtickets have been booked earlier and there is nothing we can do….but to wait until Friday….try to look at the bright side they all told us….at least you have more time to walk around Malacca and see the things around here….but too bad we won’t gonna be there for the weekend…because weekend is the most fun time to be around in Malacca especially in Jonker’s Street….*swt* that sounds disappointed to me….but I was home sick so bad that time I couldn’t care a damn thing…and the most important is I miss him too much….
It felt so long and sleepy sitting in the office the whole day….they had to work until 6p.m every single day…plus I’ve got nothing much to do…All I do there was sitting beside and staring at what they do the whole day…luckily they were very friendly I didn’t looked like a 100 years old stone there…..imagine 10 hours in the office and nothing much to do….and I felt like the time goes by very very slow….it was already considered slow back in my own office in Sabah…and now here in Malacca it was super slowpoke! When lunch time reached, Lih Ching and Annie brought me to the town to eat their famous “lap lap chicken rice”…okay I thought….I DON LIKE CHICKEN RICE!!! But they said that the chicken rice here is different and it can only be found in Malacca….I would regret if I didn’t have a try on it….okay then…since I haven’t had any chicken rice for such long time….it’s worth a try…..lolx~
Before that they brought me to Sam Suk Gong to buy a few nice local delicacies….I bought some Dodols…which is my favourite! Some kacang tumbuk and also a packet of sweet biscuits….After that we head on to Jonker’s street….the road there was so much different than the roads here in Sabah…..as they only have one lane…and it’s a one way road through the whole town!It was nice and felt like you were inside a maze…
with all those old buildings that aged more than 100 years I guessed….
I am glad they brought me here as we will not be around here during the weekends and the shops here are only opened til 6p.m….which is the same time we are leaving the company…by the time we reached here after work….all the shops are already closed…that was the main reason why they had to bring me here now….Too bad Zuraina couldn follow us due to religion problems….I guessed it was not convenient for her to follow to a chinese shop to have lunch….so she only stayed back in the office and have her lunch there….there were so mnay shops along Jonker’s street and they even told me that the roads will be closed during every weekends…that was when the streets will be filled with tourists all around….cuz it’s selling time throughout the whole streets!
If you are in Sabah, definitely you know it’s gonna feel like Gaya Street but Jonker’s Street has many more things than Gaya Street…..with all the old historical buildings surroundings….you have got to be there once!
I manage to get a bunch of Malacca key chains for RM15 from one of the shops after we had our chicken rice lunch….Yes I have to admit that this would be the first time I am having some unique chicken rice…..it’s one of a kind and you can only find it in Malacca…..this chicken rice shop will be crowded at every weekend…as people line up until the roads just to have a taste of the “lap lap chicken rice”! what is making the chicken rice special? It’s in ball shape as you can see….
that’s why they called it “lap lap” which brings the meaning “ball ball”…..it’s rather a plate of chicken rice balls than a plate of chicken rice….you have to try it at least once….it smells nice! After lunch, we intended to buy some cendol…which is also their famous local delicacies….our colleagues back in the office all ordered it since we were heading to the town…and they all wanted to let me have a try on it….but too bad we cancelled the plan due to the late-ness….we taken too long to town…and it’s already 2p.m something…*Sigh* I am damn sleepy….*Hooray* when it’s finally 6p.m….I can almost count every single seconds that ticks tocks by….Today’s activity? It’s a simple one…we are heading to a local shopping mall….and it’s a small one….erm~ I think it’s more like a supermarket than a shopping mall….anyway, the name of the place is called JUSCO….I am sure everyone knows it….It’s just some place like GIANT….Annie was the one who brought us there…since she didn’t manage to follow us yesterday…today she volunteered to bring us tour around….We walked around inside JUSCO for an hour or so…looking at things and stuffs that are sold inside….I was wandering around to see if there are suitable things to buy for Dear…but in the end I didn’t found anything…Zuraina spotted a nice sleeping gown which only cost RM10 per piece….she asked me to buy together with her but I didn’t…lolx~ why you may ask? Erm…cuz I don’t wear sleeping gowns to bed? I rather wear singlet and pant cuz I sleep like a dinasour! Roar! Haha~ when it’s time for dinner, we head to the food court and ordered some food….
When we headed back to Annie’s car and decided to leave….the unpredictable thing happened….Annie couldn’t reverse her car! The more she change her gear, the more the car move forward….just another few inches the car will bang into a tree…..the worst part was that the parking was in a slanting condition! Oh o…all three of us got panicked….luckily there was a man nearby who offered us help when he noticed that we were having problem with the car. After that, we all laughed when we were back in the car and giggled our way along the road....We didn’t went to much places today…since I said that I have to meet up my friend later…so Annie decided to send us back to the hotel early….so that I can get prepared and go out again….Guess what?! Yvonne is here in Malacca and we are meeting up later!! Hooray~ I am happy but the time doesn’t seem suitable….cuz she said that she will be reaching my hotel at about 11p.m or something later than that….OMG I must be damn tired by that time….
Not long after I taken my bath…around 10.30p.m….there was a *knock knock* on the door….I opened it and there was Yvonne! Yay!
In the end, we didn’t went out and change our plans…she’s staying in my room and chit chatting….cuz she said she don wanna be a light bulb between two of her friends who sent her there….let them have the chance to be alone + dating….muehehe~ okay I am fine…We would be safer in my room rather than sitting in whatever shops or mamak outside near this midnight time….I can’t believe we have so many things to talk about…from life to guys and to memories…it’s like a never ending conversation….we chit chat and talk until 1.30a.m….I didn’t even realized the time had passed so fast…Zuraina had slept even before 12a.m…..my eyes were half way closed as the clock strike 12a.m….but our topics haven’t ended yet…so we continued until her friends came to pick her up again…and that was 1.30a.m….lolx~ she was so “paiseh” for interrupting my rest time and wished that we had more time together….but too bad…every nice things will come to and end….and that was how the third day in Malacca ended….I slept so soundly right after Yvonne left and never woke up again until the next morning….ZZzzzz….finally~~~~off to dreamland~~
