Company Training in Malacca(2)

I couldn’t sleep the whole night! I was sleeping and waking up constantly!

*Damn* It was so cold at first, cuz I am not used to sleep in a air-con room for the whole night….and I don’t feel right sleeping at a bed not mine….imagine how many people had slept on it…and imagining what those people were doing on the bed….*argh* And then my colleague’s alarm clock went off at 5.40a.m….what the fu#k?!Sudahlah it went off so early and yet she doesn’t show any movements! Durh~~I thought I was the one who was so pro in sleeping dead….She asked me to turn on my alarm clock as well….soon, all 4 alarms went off and it was so noisy…..I felt my head almost blow off and yet she was still sleeping so soundly…okay, this is not good…I am losing my temper….I sit up and walk to the bathroom….She woke up after that though….swt =.=||

It was 7.15a.m when we finished prepare ourselves and went down for breakfast…I end up waiting for her for almost half an hour after I have finished preparing myself with brushing my teeth, washing my face and changing my clothes….I was feeling so tired as I didn really sleep for the whole night….swt!

When we went down…the café was fully packed with people! And all of them were malays….I felt all of their eyes on me…maybe they were wondering what is a chinese girl doing here….durh~ I am hungry and sleepy at the same time! Don’t make me lose my temper there….My Sarawak colleague told me that they were here for a government seminar….alright~ but they don have to stare at me do they?! I am feeling very uneasy I just hope that I am out of the place….I hurried get some breakfast and a glass of orange juice….I felt like swallowing everything at the same time and just get the way out of the place! Is this what we call racists? I mean…..maybe it was all just my akward feelings….

After breakfast, we waited for Lih Ching to pick us up at the lobby….she showed up not long after that…*pheww* what a relieve….being with Zuraina is far more better than staying in the café with so many people staring at you…@.@ time to go work….in a chinese environment office….*feeling better* OMG I think I am the one who is acting racists…..well, I would admit….I am always a racists to be honest…..swt =.= Work was okay for the both of us…cuz we are learning instead of working….working for them is a non-mistake thing for them…they wanted fast + accurate + persistent….their work were overloaded! So many things to do in one day…and it’s a never-ending story….compared to mine…..I can finish everything in one day and day dreaming for the next few days….durh~ it’s a total opposite for us….cuz this is the Head Quarter for the whole Malaysia whereas my office was only a small branch back in Sabah….

6p.m~!~! it’s finally here….yes…time to go….all of them were planning to bring us both to have a special dinner today….everyone grab their bags and off we headed to The Portugese Village where they are famous with their seafoods….The view was so nice because it’s situated by the sea….They told me that all the people staying there were portugese….real portugese since their ancestors came to Malacca long ago…. All of us ordered a glass of mango juice as it was known famous here in the portugese village…..Mr. Kenny who was the one of the manager said that this was to welcome the both of us to Malacca…so we shall feast as much as we can! Feast? I don’t think that’s a good idea…..Why? you asked? Cuz…I don’t take spicy food!! Once the food were served on our table….I looked speechlessly at Zuraina and she looked at me as well….the food are all spicy!! And both of us don’t prefer spicy food…..Oh o….this is so not good….I don’t even think we’ll be able to eat anything tonight….

All of them asked us to try some of it…although they knew we can’t take spicy…. “try just one scoop then….not much”…said one of the girls….okay, I said….just one little scoop is enough….I ate a scoop of the fried mee….all of them were staring at me…waiting impatiently for my answer…. “how was it? Too spicy for you?” OMG~ I quickly grabbed my mango drink and drink consume as much as I can…. They all quickly take the mee away and let me have no more…. Mr.Kenny hurried ordered something that is not spicy…so that the both of us can have something to fill our stomach….. “How come Sabah and Sarawak people cannot eat spicy ar” “Just a little spicy and she already drank the whole glass of mango juice” “cannot survive here lor like that” “all of us love spicy so much it’s like everyday’s food” “we cant live without spicyness” Those were what they told us during the dinner….Spicy food is such a no no for the both of us….Mr. Kenny lastly said “this doesn’t looked like a welcome dinner for our colleagues….it’s more like a feast for us” All of them laughed and agreed on it, they were obviously happy to have a free dinner that night….

Prawns~ Crabs~ Oysters~ Brinjals~ Fried noodles~ Fish~ Otak otak~ they are all spicy!! Argh~~ it’s killing my poor stomach…and obviously I didn’t take much food….since I can’t even eat spicy…. The spicy level over at Malacca are different than the spicy level back in my hometown….their level is much more higher than ours….and I noticed Zuraina eyes widen when they asked her to try some of the food….we looked at each other helplessly and giggled….no no no~~~ I keep on nod my head the whole night looking at the food on the table….*funny* After an hour o two….we….or better said THEY finally finished everything that was on the table…. *great*…..we salute to all of them….especially Mr. Kenny….just looked at what are on his plate!

After that, most of them head home in their respective ways….while Lih Ching and Janice decided to bring us tour around the city of Malacca since it’s the first time I come here….the night of Malacca was full with colourful lights….it was a pleasant night sight…..I saw the red buildings which was left until this day since the world war era….all the huge ships and old cars….the city is fully filled with the historical atmosphere….It felt so much different than my hometown….plus, their place is super clean….unlike Sabah honestly…..swt~ I manage to took some pictures around the city….but too bad we haven’t had enough time to have a try on the double-decker bus, went up Menara Taming Sari, take the ferry ride and even the eye on Malaysia! What a wasted chance….everything seems so near but it felt so far…..

We stopped by at a gift shop…and I bought some new release limited edition flavoured mooncakes….these flavours cannot be found back in Sabah…plus, it doesn even have this brand back in Sabah….better buy it when I had the chance to….XD~ After that it was a short tour around the city….they just wanted to show me the city….since we are tight in time….so we only made a quick stop in every destination….Lastly we headed to Dataran Pahlawan….which is so much huge than One borneo back in Sabah…..One Borneo is just a small baby compared to Dataran Pahlawan…..you will be experiencing from sore heels if you happen to wear high heels and walking around here….=.=|| Around 10p.m…everyone seems tired….especially me and Zuraina….I haven’t had a good sleep last night and Zuraina was suffering from stomach pain….results from the spicy food? I was worried that the same thing will happen to me….but in the end everything turn out to be fine….

We reached our hotel at about 10p.m++…both of us were so tired we hurried take the keys and head to our room….Zuraina make herself hot coffee and quickly eat her pills as her stomach is killing her…..while I hurried take my shirts and have a nice hot bath, damn tired I felt like lying on the bed and sleep straight away after the bath! But my hair was dripping wet with water and I knew I couldn sleep in that kind of condition…just then Dear called me and asked how I am doing…*ahh~ sweet* chit chat for a while first…before sleeping…that’s what I usually do back at home…I am used to talk with him thru the phone every night just before sleeping….I guessed I couldn have slept well without listening to his voice….11.45p.m~ time to sleep…and my hair was almost dried….miss the hairdryer Dear gave me back at my home….I couldn dry my hair hre…I couldn stand the heaviness in my eyes and went straight to bed after hanging up the phone….my phone is even out of battery! Swt!
